Questions & Answers
The box has a capacity of two people. 1/2" tall, 4" wide, and 3" deep
Not in the least. It's actually recessed enough that it doesn't even come close to touching the plate.
As of April 2021, the photo on this listing depicts a girl carrying a bouquet of flowers on her shoulder and a boy carrying a gun and possibly a tall wood fishing pole. On two sides, the same pattern appears, while the other two sides feature yellow chicks or ducklings. The color of the box is a muted yellow that isn't pastel. It's more like a clump of drab baby poop. The colors are drab and unappealing. The handle is functional and decorated with her flowers. The top is secure enough to keep you in place, but not so secure that it is difficult to remove. I was going to spray paint the box, but one end was bent, and there was no way I could straighten it out enough to hide the flaw. I'm going to try a layered collage, which should be able to hide any damage as long as no one looks inside.
I've had no issues, despite the fact that I frequently wear thin cotton fabrics. My sister, who suffers from RA, is a huge fan of them. They're incredibly simple to work with.

These are absolutely incredible! These clips are of excellent quality and are extremely durable. Because a few people have expressed dissatisfaction with the size, I've included a photo of one of the clips next to a straight pin. I think they're just the right size, and the tin they came in is also adorable. I've already decided to order a second set. These are a fraction of the price of the ones you'd find at a fabric store. This purchase has left me completely satisfied !.
If you already own Wonder Clips and are considering purchasing more, pass on these. Spend the extra money on a genuine item. These also have such a strong grip that they leave a LONG-LASTING impression on whatever you've pinned! You can't leave them in for more than a few hours because the fabric will be crushed and ruined.
I was torn between these and the more expensive name brand based on the reviews I read, but since I pride myself on being a "bargain shopper," I decided to try these. If you're in the same boat as me, here's what you should do: DO NOT splurge on the name brand; these are incredible little clips. I bought them to use for sewing, but I ended up using them to temporarily hold thin cardboard pieces together for a craft project, and they all worked flawlessly. There are no broken clips or springs, and they have a good, tight, powerful grip on them. These are fantastic and I would strongly recommend them!.
I've’been using these for’quite some time and’am 100% pleased with them’. I still pin some things, as I mentioned before, but I rely heavily on these. There hasn't been a single one that has broken or caused any problems. I purchased some for my mother-in-law and have given recommendations to others. ****
br>I haven't been sewing for very long, but I joined a beginner's Facebook group and keep seeing people using Wonder Clips and raving about how great they are. I despise pinning but wanted to give them a try, but the namebrand ones are prohibitively expensive for the amount of product you receive. I read a lot of Amazon reviews before deciding on these, and I'm glad I did. I don't believe they can completely replace pinning, and I don't believe they are designed to do so, but they are excellent for most projects. I've been making baby bibs and had a hard time going around the top piece because it's so narrow and the pins from one side stick you while you're working on the other, but these made it so much easier. I had read several reviews for these clips and others like them in which people complained about how difficult they were to open, but I had no such issues. You'll need to apply some pressure, but that's because they're designed for sewing and have a tight grip even on thin layers of fabric, so they're ideal for the job. These are worth having if you sew, in my opinion, for the price. I took a photo before opening them so you could see how they arrived, the loose pins, and then I simply clipped some bias tape to scrap fabric for reference.
I bought these for my mother, who is elderly, and they were extremely difficult to open. It's too late to return, but hopefully this will assist others in deciding whether or not to place an order.
These are the most adorable clips I've ever seen. They come in a variety of colors and are small but have a lot of hold. When they're not in use, I love the little vintage-style storage tin that they come in. Excellent price; even with coupons, it's much more expensive in the stores. My purchase has exceeded my expectations!.
I had never heard of sewing clips until I came across them on one of Amazon's flash sales. "Eh, why not?" I thought as I looked through the sale pages. They turn out to be a "where have these been all my life?" kind of thing. Sewing clips are much faster and easier to use than sewing pins for both putting-on and taking-off garments. on as well as for - off. They're more fun to use because of the variety of colors. Rather than being a tool, it feels more like a toy. (My 8- year- For the same reason, my eight-year-old daughter was completely enamored with them, and she intends to steal a few for use in her room and other projects. ) I love the storage tin - it's a great addition. The design is chosen at random, but the one I received was a vintage image that looked similar to the one in the Amazon photo. Of course, you can only use these if you're sewing two pieces of fabric together with a 1/2" seam or smaller - When compared to traditional pins, you don't have as much versatility in how you use them. They are capable of working with multiple layers of fabric, for instance. when a rough edge is folded under for a double-folded effect (Sorry, I'm not sure what the technical term is for this!) layer seam However, for most sewers, pinning a basic seam for two pieces of fabric is the vast majority of what they must do, and these handy clips will save you time and effort.
For her, I'm assembling a sewing kit. Because sewing pins are sharp, she didn't want any in her kit. These clips were a fantastic alternative that I discovered!! They're simple to use and will aid in the development of her fine motor skills. The clips do have measurement lines on the back, which will come in handy when she sews her first doll dress. The tin is incredibly cute! It's compact and fits snugly inside her wooden box.
