This point turner has a length of five inches. It's an excellent tool to have.

Is this a useful tool for calculating scores?

If you mean making a visible crease for pinning, stitching, and other purposes, the item's specifications say, "Temporarily mark fabric with a crease and guide fabric when machine stitching; Lightweight tool for turning points, crease seams, and removing basting stitches made of durable and beautiful bamboobr> And in that case, the answer is "yes."

My seam stretcher has a broken point, and I can't seem to find a replacement. What is put to use. ?

When working on small projects, this is a great way to get good corners
5/5

These things have always seemed to me to be a waste of time. I used chopsticks to get the corners out of most of my projects. It worked fine until I decided to make bowl cozies. br>br>All of a sudden, I was surrounded by tiny corners that refused to turn right. The fabric was pierced by pens. The chopsticks were excessively large. There was something off about everything. As a result, I placed an order for this. (I live in a town with no craft or fabric stores, so I do most of my shopping online. ) )br>br>To cut a long story short, this little turner did a fantastic job. I was able to complete the cozy corners without piercing the fabric. The cozies DID have corners, but they weren't round! br>br>It's such a small item, but it's become a staple. to tool. It appeals to me.

Every time I get a perfect score, it's because I'm a perfection I finally gave in and bought this point turner, which I had been looking for all my life
5/5

It always seemed a little pointless to me, given that I had knitting needles, seam guides, and a plethora of other pointed objects at my disposal. However, I was never able to achieve the perfect square points that I had seen on sewing blogs. So I gave in and bought this ridiculous device, which works perfectly! There's no need for me to be concerned about poking holes in the fabric. This is fantastic!.

It's something I use on a daily basis for a variety of small tasks that make my life easier
5/5

It's a Catch-22 Situation- For those times when you can just push something along smoothly instead of ironing in a small area, you'll need a turning device and a smoother. It can be used to grab the tail end of a tie that is only in the fabric, and I've even used it to grab the threads on my serger when the lower looper was un-locked. I threw away my tweezers and threaded the needle, but this was no longer a viable option. It's one of those things you didn't think you needed but could use in your sewing or craft room. I've even used it to wind yarn onto for the finishing touches before stapling it into a book of projects and yarn that I keep.

We've become spoiled, and we must always have one of these fantastic sewing tools on hand
5/5

I'll admit, it doesn't appear to be much and doesn't cost much, but WOW, what a useful tool! I use it frequently for things like turning pocket corners out, but it's invaluable to the little girl I'm teaching to sew. She's only nine and very petite, so I'm not sure I trust her with the steam iron just yet. I'll get her a mini iron eventually, but for now, she's very happy with this one! Gently rubbing the seams with this before and after seeing makes it appear as if the seams have been pressed. We absolutely adore it!.

This was essential for me as a beginner
5/5

I'm new to sewing and made a big mistake by using an extremely stretchy fabric with a lot of curves for my first project. It took a lot of coaching to finish with even stitches, and this tool was extremely helpful. I don't know how I would have survived without it.

This is a must-have item
5/5

The most basic tool is sometimes the best; I believe I had this point turner when I first started sewing 30 years ago, and it's still an important part of any sewing kit. This gives me better corners than anything else I've tried, and it's long enough to comfortably hold in my hand. I've used it to turn corners in small spaces (1 x 1" squares), and despite the image making it appear large, it's really not. br>br>This is one of those things that looks like a seam-ripper. You must have the following items: a ripper, measuring tape, leather thimble, and a marking pen.

Sewing machine is my favorite
5/5

Sewing machine is my favorite. Without poking through, turn the points. Smoothly push out curves. Seams should be pressed with your fingers. Folds in the crease. Thread a ribbon through the hole and hang it nearby to keep it from falling out of your hand.

This is a must-have for any sewing basket
5/5

The Dritz Point Turner is one of my favorite tools, and I use it for a lot more than just making my points nice and pointy. For pressing my quilt seams open, it's fantastic. I also use it to hold fabric in place while pressing and sewing seams. Amazon has great sewing supplies, and I always go to Amazon first when I need sewing or quilting supplies.
