Questions & Answers
The inside to inside width of the PN 5588, our 12" round quilting hoop, is 11-18" from inside to inside. It is 11/16".
As a quilter, I use it for quilting but I can't see why you couldn't stitch with it. As far as I can tell, the only difference between embroidery hoops and quilt hoops is that the rings are a little wider to accommodate the quilt sandwich.

I'm not sure what it was pictured to be. Even with the large hoops, i was having trouble fitting my thin quilt into the hoop with the smaller hoops, and the larger hoops barely fit around the smaller ones with a quilt. There was a problem closing the pin. Since the nut is so tiny, it hurt my already short fingers to use it, and i got stuck just trying to unscrew it the first time. Additionally, the wood appears to not be round around its edges, and there seems to be only half an inch left. When I pick up the wood by itself, it feels like half of it is going to break. Buy it. DO NOT buy it.
What a horrible thing to do! Here is an Edmunds hoop made in the United States with smooth finish that comes with a brand name. I received was a knock-off of a real product- Off-brand, cheap, warped, cheaply made hoop from China that is not smooth. I will return as soon as possible.
It is easier for me to learn quilting with this hoop, as I am new to this craft. had intended to stitch by hand and this hoop made it very easy to keep my project stable As well as allowing me to quilt in my chair or another room, it also allows me to be mobile.
This is an absolutely NON-profit organization You can use it in traditional ways! The Ludwig drum I'm working on was built in the 20's or 30's, and very few original parts are left. In order to make the bottom of the drum, I needed a wooden hoop 12 inches in diameter. I really like the 12" quilting hoop from Edmunds! I've used it a lot! My hole was about 1/4 inch large, so I had to let it out. It doesn't have to be huge, but for this project it's not important It is for sentimental value that I am making this restoration of high quality During my youth, I was taught drums by my mother on an instrument similar to that when I was about 10. It would have been impossible for me to buy a "real" drum hoop. As you can see in the picture, it is actually the same size, but the angle makes it appear smaller. Now I have to find fitting hardware -- These drums are so old that no parts are available. Edmunds, thanks for letting me know!.
Unfortunately, this hoop doesn't seem to be as good quality as I had hoped. This product does not have the name stamped on it, it is not as smooth as expected, and it is difficult to assemble.
Spending money on useless things Purchases should not be made. In addition to that, the hoop broke after using it for a while (Recovered early in June after being out for almost two months In late July, the link was broken). There was a break on the curve of wood on the underside of the hoop There is a stapled section at the top of the Staples on one end just came off and the wood on the underside of the hoop splintered. It was a waste Buying is not a good idea. I haven't been pregnant much longer than 2 months. I guess the seller won't send the product back or replace it after 30 days, since the seller denies the return or replacement. Not buying their products in the future.
The hoops are easy to set up and hold the linen well. I use them to make hook rugs, mostly pillow sized. They are not so large that they are difficult to hold and manipulate, but still show a good portion of the work area at once.
My first impression was that it was sturdy, but when I used it for quilting, I noticed that This computer works fine but I do not think it will last 30 years like my first computer. Since it was expensive, you will have to decide if it is within your budget. By the way, this is made in China.
