Hoops with a square base are much better than round ones! In addition to the 11 x 11, I have placed an order for the 6 x 6. There is nothing I love more than these. You can save material by stitching squarely on a surface. There are so many ways to do corners! hoops are much tighter than traditional round hoops and hold for a much longer period of time. Getting them tighten up is really simple. It takes only a tiny bit for the clamps to come back into place and BAM! They're tight. The only hoop I will ever use is this one. This hoop still holds special memories for me 18 months after purchasing it. It took a while to wear out the clamps. In order to clamp a piece of fabric, I put one under the clamp. Clamp replacements can be purchased on our website.
When I finished them, I lamented the sharp, curved lines on the fabric that I had gotten by using hoops. Thankfully, this lovely product takes care of that trouble, and the larger diameter of the tubes makes it very convenient to use. In addition to buying both your 8" and 11" sets, I am using it as a frame for an 8" x 11". My sincere thanks go out to.
The only thing I've used before is a wooden cross stitch stand to maintain the fabric tension as I dislike using hoops because they create creases. Due to my aging eyes, I am finding it increasingly difficult to see with the wooden stand I have. It is bulky, does not take all sizes of cloth, and is bulky and hard to clean. By using this frame, you can keep the fabric taught without making horrible It would have been nice to have found this sooner!.
However, having to loosen the work from the hoop every night was a bit of a pain and still left the work unfinished There are hoop marks that can be removed. In the next batch, I bought a pair of Q-sized shoes With a snap of the fingers, I was on my way. As they keep the fabric and canvas tight, when they do inevitably start to give a little, a simple twist of the clamps tightens them I think that invention is the best. It's never happened.
As a result, I decided to try these and I really like them! Though I find it a bit difficult to take off the "clamps", it won't be an issue that prevents me from using I was able to put it together okay. My husband was able to assemble the furniture in 3 minutes after I struggled with it for a while. You should keep in mind that the dimensions of the product info refer to the entire square, not just the working area. Since I knew this before I ordered, I wasn't affected, but I want to make note of it for anyone else interested in purchasing.
How would you like to spend 100 hours on a large needlework project only to have it marred by flattened stitches and creased fabric? It won't work with this girl, and I don't have to deal with her! The frame does so many things well, and it has so many great features 1* *
1) A rounded cross-section. There are no sharp edges or creases in the PVC due to its 1" diameter and completely circular shape your fabric will not be stretched or distorted. 2. iv) The composition of PVC pipe. You will have no trouble holding the PVC pipe, so you will not have to hold a heavy hoop for hours, and your fingers won't cramp up in the way they do after hours of curling. 3
1) A square frame. You can tell by looking at the shape of the Q-shaped piece if you work with square pieces Frames that snap onto your design let you position the frame right at the edge of your design, exposing maximal stitching space, so you don't have to move it almost as often as you would if you used In order to reach the very outside of the corner of a square or rectangle piece using a hoops, you have to position the hoops on the side. There are a few points on every side, so they are easy Aida fabric stretches out really well in these, and they're so much easier to use for locking the fabric in one side at a time rather than trying to get the hook over the fabric, lock it in, then hope the fabric is tight enough to enclose this hook. You will stitch with this.
It was frustrating and unproductive for me to use frames for stitching because I had to sew my fabric into them or keep purchasing adhesive velcro, depending on how they were supposed to be attached, and no matter what I tried I was never able to Perforated plastic (which I still love) is what I mostly use now so I won't have to worry about I joined a stitching group, however, and my group has been praising this thing since I joined, so for the price, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out. Also, it may be easier to load the fabric when it is not so close to the frame size. For this project, the cloth just covers the frame on both sides, with little to no excess hanging off. In either case, this is a fine frame, and well worth the price.
