It is obvious. With the Cricut Explore One, Explore Air, and Air 2, as well as the Maker, the Monocut cutting mat works perfectly.
bought this product and it was packaged with 3 cutting mats. Pleasantly surprised, I have to say. Mats made with it are cheaper than the original Cricut mats
Sadly, I do not own a Shillouette, however, you may be able to use these with her if you can exchange Cricut mats.
To make my T-shirt prints, I use this mat in conjunction with my Cricut Explore Air 2 I had no problems with my shirt project. It held my vinyl nicely and released it just as easily

Mats like these are very nice. The thickness is excellent but the stickiness is too much. My vinyl only became attached after I attempted to remove it after removing my first cut. In addition to sticking the mat to my trousers before placing my vinyl, I also stuck the mat to the backing of the vinyl because it was even stickier than the Cricut mat I usually use. Despite these efforts, it still took me 45 minutes to remove the backing from the vinyl.
This trio works wonderfully and I love the fact that I can buy it in a three-pack since I use them almost everyday! In the near future, I'll definitely be purchasing more of these! In case you doubt that this brand is of the same quality as Cricut, don't. The mat feels as thick and sticky as the Cricut mat, if not even more so! Sturdy, well-built, and has plenty of features I have found the only mat I will buy from now on that is 12x24".
In other words, they do not meet the criteria of Standard Grip. The grip mats I received from these manufacturers are strong and would make excellent mats for cutting vinyl stencils, but I did not find them to work for cutting my vinyl stencils. After my Cricut cut my stencil, I went to remove the reusable stencil from the mat, and I couldn't get it off as easily as I should have, causing the stencil to be creased. As I always do when I prepare my vinyl for cutting, I did not press this stencil hard down on the mat before inserting it into the cut. Instead, I brushed it gently down like I do every time. In order to prevent this from being a waste of $23 on 3 mats, I am going to try and figure out a way to reduce the adhesion. Please be aware that it tears vinyl when you remove it since it is so tacky.
Cricut's 'Light Grips' are stickier than their standard grip mat and function more like their "Standard" grip mats. In addition, it leaves a slight stickiness on all my cardstock after it has been peeled off, so when I lay them down, they stick to my table. While that is fine for pieces that will be adhered anyway, I switch back to the Cricut brand when I use them for things requiring a nonstick surface, such as envelopes and the base of the It also does not work well on light cardstock or printer paper because it acts more like the Standard Cricut mat, which is It's helpful if you want a standard grip mat to hold on to whatever you're cutting and don't mind a bit of tackiness when you cut.
With a Cricut, you can make intricate cuts. The glue is different from the name brand and lasts longer. They are our lives. The order has been.
Custom orders for the holidays are in the air, which means I needed new mats for my gallery. As I prayed and hoped that this set would fit my maker, I bought this set. They do, in fact. In addition, I do not have to tear my items when taking them off the mat because the adhesive is just right. My mats fitted right into the machine and the grid was identical to the mat I got with the machine. I won't be buying the name brand since these were much cheaper, easier to operate, more mats to a package (than one in the name brand) and work just as well. Additionally, I don't have to leave my house in order to obtain The only improvement I would suggest would be to mark the first half-year and quarter Rather than just at the top, increase the height an inch from top to bottom. so much better if you did not have to eyeball that line.
-I mostly cut vinyl, so the blue light grip mats are what I use. It is much better than Cricut since even the popular blue light grip Cricut mats are way too sticky, and it is important to prime them beforehand because otherwise getting your vinyl off will be a real hassle. This Monicut mat is great. It does not need to be primed and allows the vinyl to be released easily while still having a good It is highly recommended that you use these Monicut mats because they are better than the Cricut brand at a much better price.
I am very happy with this product over the Cricut brand. They are sticky but not so much that they damage the cardstock when they come My project turned out to be larger than the smaller size, therefore I purchased the larger size. I'm looking forward to using them soon!.
