To cut fabric, I use a rotary cutter with a titanium coating. Although I haven't used a knife or cookie cutter on this mat, it is rugged and durable, so I am confident that it could handle these items. Good luck to you, Doreen! Mine is really great!

The mat is very useful for cutting. As I was cutting on this mat, the blade went right through my fabric, which caused me to think I needed to replace the blade in my rotary cutter. You can feel the difference when you use your mat.
The purple side of the mat had deep gashes. What was I thinking by not trying the black side? The color and the idea of an eco-friendly product are what really drew me to it I returned it for a refund because I was aware that the gashes would affect smooth cutting over time. The green Olfa mat is the equivalent size to the green mat I bought, since I know it is.
It is a good mat, with all of the measurements marked so you can cut along them easily. There was, however, a problem with the box in which this item came it had to be folded in half to fit in the box. As a result of laying it in the sun, it has almost become flat, and now it has become usable. Be aware of the shipping method used by this seller, if you intend to purchase.
It's the perfect size and color, I love it.
There is a lot of space here and it is very durable and long lasting. The desk is larger than I anticipated, so I may have to return it, but I may be able to use it at home. The fact that it has small increments and square sizes is great.
My favorite part about the mat is its color! My only complaint is that the mat is beautiful compared to the others I've owned in the last 30 years. It is the perfect size. The size should be neither too big nor too small. What it does is exactly what it should do.
However, I haven't been able to try it out Three stitches resulted from my rotary cutter slipping, jumping the ruler, and getting away from me. I love it. The COLOR, the squares, and the weight of it all make it my favorite! Thanks for the tip! I'll try to keep my things straight. It's great to have such a good.
