I have no idea, but Finland was mentioned in the description.
I simply opened the box and uncovered the mat, keeping it flat and storing it in another room for a day after washing it, drying it, and removing the odor.
Both sides of the mat are available for use!
That's not the case. I ironed on top of my mat after covering it, and now my mat has a wave lump in one spot. It's not as flat as it used to be. This item is not heat resistant.

This mat is the worst because it doesn't self-clean. I couldn't cut a single layer of quilting fabric in one go, even with a new endurance rotary blade, so I had to go back and forth, sawing at my fabric, causing errors in my cuts and dulling my rotary blade. I was perplexed as to how YouTubers managed to make it appear so simple. I assumed it was my technique, but when I tried cutting on a green mat, I was blown away by how easy my cuts were. In contrast to the velvety, cushy feel of green mats, this mat feels like stiff plastic. This is a brand of self-care that I've owned for quite some time. Healing mats have been tried twice, decades apart, and both times have been disastrous. br>br>The only use I can think of for this is for young children's crafts, where you don't have to worry about damaging the mat. If not, any GREEN mat will suffice. Advantages: br>br>

But, in order to make a decision, I'd like to see edge-to-edge footage. a closer look- To compare the layers of the mats, take photos of them. br>br>The Fiskars mats (top) are about 1. 25 inches thinner than the Worklion mats. 5mm vs. 3mm). Some people, however, have reported no problems when using knives on Fiskars mats. br>br>I've taken a picture of the two mats and uploaded it. I hope it proves to be useful in making a decision.
I've only had limited experience with these mats, but they've served me well thus far. I bought it because of the larger size, and so far it has served me well. They appear to be long-lasting. br>br>ON THE OTHER HAND, THE HOLE (for hanging? ) appears to be my sole gripe - I have to be careful to keep the mat in the correct orientation so that a far edge cut doesn't jump when the blade hits the hole under the fabric. It's aggravating to realize you need to flip and reset the fabric when you're moving quickly. It's been aggravating and has taken a toll on productivity. br>br>Perhaps this hole is for merchandising, but I'd prefer if the mat could be made without it. When only a small portion is used, this may not be as much of an issue - or when only making one or two precision cuts, but it was purchased to enable small, medium, and large cuts (that used nearly the entire mat), so this hole plays a big part in causing me unnecessary frustration. br>br>Pretty good for the price, but wish they wouldn't put a hole in it.
It's a good cutting mat, but be aware that if heated, it will permanently distort. My work area is lit by a halogen bulb, and half of my mat became quite warm as a result, and it now refuses to lay flat no matter what I do. Despite the fact that the mat was adhered to the table's surface, it warped away from it.
The best item I've ever bought! So far, this has been one of my best purchases everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Mat of a large size; To protect the surface of my craft table, I keep it on top of it. I did get paint on it once, and even though it was dry, it wiped right off. The cutting guidelines are simple to read and conveniently located. The best part is that, unlike my previous one, it does not slide around on the table when I use it. I cut a lot of deco-style squares. I used my rotary cutter to cut mesh fabric, and it came out great!.
This is a fantastic value for the size. The lines make it so simple to make my marks on my fabric, and now that I've learned to align my straight edge with the lines on the mat before making my marks - it's even easier. Not only do I not have to worry about my lines being straight, but every squared piece I need to cut has perfect angles as well. I'm not even upset that it's not self-healing for the price. I cut on one side only, so if I need a smooth side, I simply flip it over. This is a must-have for anyone who works with crafts of any kind.
No one I know does tailoring or sewing at the level I want to achieve, so not having a point of reference or a guide to assist with proper setup is a bit difficult; Searching on the internet is simply too overwhelming, and it is frequently contradictory. With that said, I 100% 100% recommend purchasing this 18×24 inch self healing cutting mat for anyone in a similar situation. This is a good place to start when it comes to sewing cutting mats. Unless you're using it for paper, I wouldn't recommend going any smaller. Scrapbooking, for example, is a hobby that many people enjoy. br>This is by far the best price for this item on the market. Fiskars consistently produces immaculate, high-quality, time-tested, and durable products, and I have yet to be disappointed by any of my countless purchases of Fiskars products. br>I also had a very positive experience with this particular seller. Delivery was on time, the item was well packaged for shipping, and it was exactly what was described.
