I bought this product and it melted in the sun. There are no guarantees that this is 100% cotton, and it is totally useless.
It appears that the picture does not correspond to the Although the picture says it is a queen size, the description says it is a craft size. As it happens, this is too small for the project I needed it for, so now I'm stuck. An ad that appears deceptive, but the product is of reasonable quality overall.
Polypropylene makes up 5% of the material. In between quilting, however, it is perfect as batting. Despite being thin and soft, the flannel is warm and thick. The software is easy to use.
The fact that Amazon had something like this saved me a trip to JoAnn's because I didn't realize I could purchase such a thing online. I found it to be very helpful.
The stuff I write about here is great. It is unfortunate. As it turns out, I ordered the wrong color when I expected white batting. Sorry about that. Other than using it for quilting, it can be used for a variety of other projects. The thing I like most about it is that I can make snowmen with it. When I make patterns for the crib or craft sizes, I keep a stash of them on hand since I don't have a great deal of room to work with I always put this on my wish list to remind myself of how much I need to order.
This cloud lantern recipe is what I used to make it An illuminated Chinese lantern, also known as a Japanese lantern, is made with paper, cotton batting, and a glass globe at the top. When lit in the dark, the globe looks like a floating cloud. It is unfortunate. I could not get this batting to fluff up properly because it was the wrong type of batting. Even so, the mistake was on me, and I could see that it was fairly good quality and would have served my needs if I had needed such a cotton, so I'm still giving it a full five In any case, if you are a lantern cloud maker, you should avoid this batting as it is the wrong kind.
