It comes with standard sewing needles; what size do you require?
There are a variety of color threads in it.
For my granddaughters, I chose the one pictured because it came in a wide range of colors and had so many accessories (scissors, pins, needles) all in one attractive zipped container.

The thread is so thin that it breaks, and I had to cut the top of the spool to free it. Any other product bearing the WeeCosy name would make me extremely hesitant.
The Good: This is a nice sewing kit for traveling. It contains a little bit of everything you might require. The price is reasonable, and the quality is acceptable. br>br>The Cons: I have no idea how to sew (though I'm learning as I go). Overall: br>br> This kit was purchased due to a tear above the knee in a favorite pair of jeans. In the past, I tried iron-on patches, but they never lasted more than a few washes. I cut and sewn the patch myself from a nice yard of paisley denim. It's not the best work, but it'll do for now, and I've learned/discovered better ways to do it. I am pleased with my purchase.
The first one had to be returned because the needle threader was of poor quality. It was broken before I used it, but they quickly returned it, sent me a new one, and customer service was extremely responsive. I read somewhere that you should put a drop of superglue where the two wires meet the metal on the needle threader, so that's what I'm going to try, but the needle threader has been working fine for me so far, as long as I keep it in place. It's a great little sewing kit for the price, and it comes with everything you could possibly need. It also has a second needle threader that he made that is far more durable than the little metal/aluminum one, so I'll probably use that instead. If I hadn't had a problem with the first, I would have given this a try. stars - Their customer service more than made up for any flaws in the product.
If you've never sewn before, you might think this is a fantastic opportunity. This is NOT a high-quality item, as I have sewn. There aren't many spools of thread. For CoronaVirus, we used ONE SPOOL to make a small mask. It's a fine, silky thread. It isn't as thick as regular thread. The straight pins are a complete waste of time! The needles for sewing. DULL! If you sew, you understand the value of a pin that can penetrate material, particularly t-shirt material. The case, on the other hand, is very attractive. The rest of it is a sham! I could have gotten a sewing kit from Walgreens for $4 and gotten the same quality. If I didn't have to sew a mask for myself, I'd do it. This is something that I would return! If you don't need it, please don't waste your money! If it's the only thing you can come up with. It's what it is, and there's nothing you can do about it. Oh, the quality, I'm telling you, is terrible. Attempt to locate the thread spool's beginning! Best wishes to you. After 15 minutes of trying, my daughter and I gave up and moved on to a different spool. That was the case with all of them. POS!.
"Cherry12, you are almost 50 years old," I thought as I went to mend an item and discovered that my sewing kit (not impressive, mending only) had been destroyed by my now adult kids and was now a giant glob of threads all over the place, no scissors, like four needles, just a mess. For the love of God, get a new sewing kit! This kit has everything I need for mending, putting on buttons, quick stitching, and more, and it comes in a case that I could theoretically carry around with me wherever I go. For me, this is perfect.
I'm not a seamstress at all. I don't even own a sewing machine, and I've been putting my damaged clothes in need of repair aside since moving out of my parents' house last year. This was purchased because I required a sewing kit to repair them. I used this kit to repair a ripped seam on a puffer jacket's pocket, holes in the seams of two pairs of leggings, an unraveling sleeve of a sweater, as well as two snags, and a hole in one of my favorite pillowcases. By any stretch of the imagination, I'm not a spectacular needleworker. It's good enough for me if it keeps me from falling apart. It's even better if the thread matches. I should point out that the thread included in this kit is quite thin, so I doubled it when sewing to ensure the integrity of my repairs. Everything went smoothly.
To put it simply, I'm a single man who goes to work every day dressed in a suit. Every now and then, I come across buttons that are loose or missing. in that case This kit includes everything I'll need to get the job done. A quick video tutorial on how to sew buttons can be found on YouTube. Other coworkers are now asking if I can sew on a button for them or if they can borrow my equipment. What you get for the price is The standard of craftsmanship is outstanding.
This is a fantastic small kit. Very well constructed. There are a lot of colors to choose from, and I've already used it twice in the last week. The needles are simple to thread (even for me, who is only semi-skilled). blind! What would I do if I didn't have it? The scissors are nice, and the exterior quality is pleasing, and I am very pleased with it, especially considering the low price. It has everything I will need in a sewing kit. Thank you very much.
