It is recommended that you use a 5 x 11 piece of It makes great prints on large papers, but if you make prints on a paper or tag smaller than your Gelli Plate, you must use extra papers to cover the edges to prevent getting paint all over yourself as you rub the back of the paper. This is no big deal, but it does mean the system is less chaotic When there are many extra wet painted papers, finding a place for them becomes a problem quickly.

I love the large one, and I do use it quite often. If you chose to get the size appropriate for the paper you wish to use the most, do so first. ).

The package arrived promptly, but I removed the two pieces of mylar that were in the package, and the mylar pulled a piece from the side of the plate and scratched it. I might still be able to use the other side, but if I couldn't, I'd have to throw it away before any use can be made. In addition, the clamshell contains an indentation on the outside which caused the plate to be skewed. There is a chance it will be revealed at some point. You won't believe how much fun you will have

This product is very expensive. Beware this is an addictive product. The fun never ends. It has been a promise I have made to myself on many occasions that I would limit my printing to a maximum of five sheets in three colors. A second print of 40 sheets will be done on both sides. This is not a good idea. There aren't enough flat surfaces in the house to dry the prints on, so I have run out of flat surfaces to use. You'll love it! My guess is that it is worth the price. Can you think of another place you can have such a great time for so little?.

It's a war of storage

Despite the fact that my plate was relatively new, I stored it between the Mylar sheets as directed in the clamshell case. There is nothing under or on top of it. It was pulled out for maybe the fourth time and there already were depressions that looked like air bubbles. There is paint that collects within these and appears in prints. It was an extremely disappointing experience.

You can never go wrong with big! Working with the 5x7 geli plate was exhausting since I had to deal with the lines that came from the small plate when creating larger pieces of art

It's a great size for me and I There is no need for harsh lines to form where smaller plates end. Making such big pieces is very flexible. You can choose to leave them big or trim them down. Geli printing is our favorite printing method, so if you are on the fence about buying a big one, we suggest that you get one. There are no regrets to be had.

You can make mono prints really well with these gel plates. The plate I own now is the biggest I have ever owned- The plan is to make some larger jar prints that can be used as cards or wrapping paper.
