It's okay, but not the best. The handle is too thin so you can't get a good grip when It has a durometer of 75 (firmness of As well, the blade height from the handle is a bit lower than normal industry standards. It is NOT recommended if you plan to print in white or if you plan to print in a light- colored ink On a dark shirt (or other substrate), ink is printed in colors. A 75 durometer blade is also more of an industry-standard blade rather than a precision blade The 70 series is a standard. The blade is stiff, so if you need to push or pull ink more easily you will have difficulties using it. I don't regret buying this product, but for the price, there are so many better ones available. Before you make a decision about this item, perform a search and a look around.
Getting it to work with plastisol inks or large images is a bit of a challenge, but it works well on small images when using water based ink.
My images are unevenly printed when I use large sizes.
The squeegee I wanted to use for screen printing was beyond my control. I made my decision to purchase this book after a lot of research online. My preference is for the wooden handle, not that I have ever tried an aluminum one, but I could not imagine it being comfortable to hold with an aluminum one. I am very happy with how this works and it The size of this one is great and I'll be purchasing more of it for various types of screen prints as well as some of the other durometer sizes.
The squeegie works very well for me as a home hobbyist. It is not my business to run a print shop or commercial printing business. It is much better than the speedball one that came with my screen printing starter kit. I haven't tried any of the expensive ones, so I can't compare it to those. Then I cut them down to size. I buy the larger size and and then I cut them down to size. You'll save a lot of money by doing this instead of buying.
There is no way the squeegee could be big enough to pull a clean image, but it looks like it would. It was easy for the ink to rise up to the handle rapidly, making a mess. This squeegee will do the trick if you are printing as a hobby. A normal squeegee has also been included as a.
Because I have never used one of these before, I don't have any other product to compare it with, but it seems great.
There's a problem with the rubber because it's so short that ink gets squished getting stuck between the rubber and the wood, making it really difficult.
You have to deal with it as This product is very durable and lightweight and of good quality.
