For a 12x12 press, I would purchase the larger mat. My mat is a 9x9 Easy Press 2, and this size works well for me.
If you sew where you cut, you might be able to get away with it.

I decided to take a chance on this heat pad and I'm glad I did. It works flawlessly! I'd bought a Cricut pad but hadn't yet opened it. I was still shocked at the price I paid for it (and it was on sale). I never used it, and when this one arrived, I returned it to the store. The heat distribution quality of the material is identical to that of the brand-name version. This one is a little thicker, double-sided (as opposed to its single-sided counterpart), and has a much higher value. When my money can be spent more wisely, I'm all for it. It was well worth the money.
It works exactly like the Cricut brand. br>The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 star rating is because it claims to be 12 x 12, but it is actually 11 3/4 by 11 3/4 inches. br>I know it sounds petty, but I was expecting it to be the size it claims to be. br>Next time, I'd probably pay more attention and get a larger mat.
I went on the hunt for a replacement after my cricket easy press mat was ruined by a printing vinyl mishap. This mat cost a fraction of the price of the original and appears to be made of the same material. I've only had a chance to try it out for a few minutes, but it's fantastic.
I was about to give up and just use a towel when I saw this and decided to buy it right away! It's a good deal for the money, and it doesn't get too hot or leave any odor when you're done with it. The temperature control is excellent, but there aren't enough colors.
This heat press mat is perfect for you. This mat is perfect for my medium-sized heat press. Because of the way it absorbs and reflects heat, this mat, unlike the mat that came with my heat press, does an amazing job with my htv adhering well on the first press. I also use it on a sturdy desk and haven't had any issues with heat leaking through. I've used this mat a lot in the month and a half that I've had it, and it's still going strong. Oh, and it hasn't got any odor to it! I would strongly suggest it.
I didn't realize I needed it until I was making shirts and noticed how my HTV applied differently. I was both surprised and disappointed because I had made so many shirts without this gem!.
It's absolutely incredible. I don't want to disparage this product; it served me well, but I must caution you that if you create a double-sided iron image (front and back of a shirt), the glittery flecks will iron onto the design on the opposite side due to the heat. br>However, it's an excellent product at a reasonable price, so I would recommend it; just be cautious when doing front/back garments.
I like how thick it is and how simple it is to use. It's very light and doesn't move around much. It's fantastic!.
