new to Cricut Explore Air 2 and I wanted to know what cut settings I should choose?

In the same boat as you, I am fairly new. As well as the explore air 2, I have the air 2. The brand of television I am using is the only one I have yet used, and I am pleased with it. The iron I use for cutting is on a setting and it creates really nice cuts.

This is an instruction and a direction
5/5

It is so confusing, especially for newbies like myself. I have figured out what I need to do. In addition to my Cricut, I use an iPad. Remove the film by peeling it off. The vinyl should be placed with the film side facing up and with the plastic side facing down on your mat. Note Be sure to cut in the mirror image This is backward. In my first attempt, I used a normal blade and it did not cut deep enough, so I switched to a deep blade and reinserted the piece. Since I was not going to use the material anyway, I figured it didn't matter if the cut was off. Although the cut was almost perfect, I didn't use any extra That is awesome. I'm so happy. It was a pleasure working with Cricut. *After the vinyl has been removed, simply peel off the plastic and you will see your image. It's actually pretty easy to do this. It was just a matter of pulling and everything separated easily. I did not have to be cautious After that, place the image face down on the fabric and iron it with whatever protective layer you are using. Simply a rag does the trick for me. (*) br>This company makes a big deal about the protective film they put on their vinyl, so it confuses consumers. The film must have been melted many times due to complaints about it. In addition, I feel they may not be native English speakers? The quality of the work is good enough to make me unsure. This is very much hoped to be of help to Product is of very high quality. Rather than wasting your time being confused, make the most of it. Thanks a lot.

This vinyl is amazing
5/5

I found the process to be confusing. This may be of some help to you. I was very pleased with how the vinyl adhered to the wall and how good it cut. I haven't read the instructions but it seems to be a quality product. It comes with instructions, but they're a bit unclear. In addition, I became more confused after reading 30 minutes of Amazon reviews with tips. The instruction appears to be to peel the backing from the paper The statement is not true. Below are posts that I hope will provide more clarity about how to do the task, as well as the attached image. br>Please keep in mind that all of this is based on my own experience, when using an older Silhouette Cameo with a standard blade, a household iron, and a cotton t-shirt It should help to wear a t-shirt. The following is an instruction guide for using the Silhouette Camera as a heat transfer device. The following should be done before cutting There is an easy-to-use adhesive on every sheet of vinyl Identify plastic by looking at it A backing is like a backing track. A BIT OF PIECE MUST NOT BE REMOVED As a result of the use of this plastic When you iron your vinyl, it is held in place by a backing. The second one. The cutting The shiny plastic should be placed in the center of the desk When you back face down on your Cameo, the material is fed from the material feed. face of the vinyl is the fairly dull side of the record In the end, it is this dull side that is going to stick to your fabric. It is imperative that the software you are using is showing your image in "MIRROR" MODE, which means it My blade is set to 2, no more than 3. If you cut the image on the dull-finish card, the lines in the image will look dull A vinyl record should be turned backward so the right side faces upward. The herb must be weeded and pulled Keep the shiny backing facing down on your cutting board, and begin to pull it away from the shiny backing Cut out the areas of your art that should be included in the final product with a Silhouette tool or an Exacto knife. In order to understand which pieces are positive and negative, you may find it helpful to do this over something that is similar in color to the shirt or fabric you will be ironing. The best way to avoid tearing an art piece is to start at a corner and move slowly toward it. As you finish, you are left with only the art image(s) stuck to *4, *3. The ironing board Make sure only high heat is applied to the iron. A flat surface (or ironing board) is best used for ironing shirts or materials. As a result, the adhesive adheres better at the beginning. Lie your vinyl sheet, clear side up, with the vinyl down, as close to the fabric as possible. It is important to make sure the vinyl image looks correct (not backward) on your fabric. A thin bedsheet or piece of white paper can be used to cover the clear backing so the iron does not adhere. The iron should be used firmly for 30 seconds on the image area. You will need to do this for each image area if the image is larger than your iron. Try not to move the iron too much as this can cause the art to move or become

PEEL away a corner of the plastic. Then use a soft and careful method of backing, making sure to watch the vinyl for peeling. The vinyl will peel if the ironing process is not repeated. You've got it! The backing should come off without a hitch!.

As of now, this is the best product I've used
5/5

Applies to shirts easily. Peals easily, is easy to weed, and is easy to peal. It has been washed well so far with no problems with the lettering coming off. My first thought was that this vinyl would not be an option for me because so many people had told me other brands were the only way to go, but it The prices are very reasonable and I love the long size sheets as well as the rainbow My wish would be to purchase packets of just black and white vinyl as well, as I am becoming more experienced. This product is perfect for my Cricut explore air 2, it cuts well, it is easy to weed, and it is easy to The wording on the shirts hasn't come off after I've washed them a couple of times already. In the future, I will certainly purchase from this company.

It was a good price for the kind of vinyl I needed
5/5

I needed a variety of colors for a shirt I was making for my daughter, and the cost added up relatively fast. When I discovered this pack at a reasonable price, I decided to get it. Among the 3 sheets of white paper and 2 sheets of black, this seller offers me 3 sheets of white and 2 sheets of black. When I use my Cricut, I cut using the iron on the highest setting. This stuff works just as well as sir! No problems, no weeds, no problems at all! Multiple times have been washed, and the shirt is in good condition. This vinyl is beautiful. I'm so happy with it. Furthermore, it would be great to see a few more common colors in the bundle. It might be nice if different types of variety packs were available, such as one with all neutral colors, or all neons, for instance.

I'm happy with how things are going so far! I received my order in good time, and it was delivered in the way I expected
5/5

It is soft to weed as well as easy to maintain! I have used only the orange HTV up to now, which was unexpected. The fabric was perfect to use for a Halloween shirt I was making. Please read the instructions very carefully because the first time I did it I did not realize it was the wrong side.

Cricut designs go great with this
5/5

It was nice to have directions on the package It was much easier to cut and iron with that. As it turns out, we didn't realize that cutting through the clear plastic coating could damage it. We were able to make the process much smoother once we figured that out. The ink stuck well to clothes. It will be interesting to see how well it holds up after being washed.

The plant is difficult to weed, but it cuts Fonts of any size can be used
5/5

You can cut it like a dream with this vinyl! Although weeding is difficult, it is not impossible. It might be because the material is a bit stretchy to use on a t-shirt I had a problem getting shirts and other items in time it took a long time to get a T-shirt My granddaughter loves her shirt that I made her. I would easily buy it again because it ironed on so well. Also included is a sturdy storage case that accommodates everything nicely in a flat position.

This is excellent
5/5

This was a gift I gave to my wife for Christmas. It works great for her with the new Cricut Maker and this set of vinyl heat transfer sheets. In addition, she has the most recent press, which allows these sheets to work better than with an iron, which she had used for years in the past. A great product. Don't hesitate to get.
