Selected User Reviews For Dual Edge Aluminum Emulsion Scoop Coater for Silk Screen Printing Coating Tool (4 Inch)
I had no choice but to write this review and give this emulsion scoop coater five stars. I had previously purchased one from Ryonet that was extremely difficult to use! I practiced by watching videos and convinced myself that I was doing something incorrectly. When I bought this scoop coater, I was blown away by how quickly it costed my screens. EASY. Anyone would benefit from it.
The first time I ordered it, the package was returned to the seller for some unknown reason (it had never left the United States, and the tracking had never changed). I contacted Amazon and the seller, and both were extremely helpful and friendly. Amazon issued a refund and advised me to proceed with my order. br>br>I went back to buy the same product, and this time there was no problem at all, and it even arrived a day earlier than expected. br>br>El producto me encantó, es muy simple de usar, y la verdad es que ni siquiera pesa. I highly recommend it, both to people in the United States and to those of us who live in Mexico. It arrived in good condition and on time.
These aren't fancy, but they do the job perfectly; I started with a 6", then an 8", and now a 14" is on the way. I tried a different "fancy" model on Amazon at one point, and it was a steaming pile of crap that destroyed about $40 worth of screens. I'm going to stick with these from now on because they're so simple and meet all of my needs.
I'm attempting screen printing for the first time. I didn't think a scoop coater was necessary for my small business, but I couldn't think of any other way to get the emulsion onto the screen. br>On the first try, I was able to coat my screens, and they looked exactly like the videos I was watching. It's something I'd suggest to others. Emulsion is difficult to work with, even if you won't use it often, and this device wrangles it and coats it evenly.
I didn't have high hopes, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to get two clean, even coats from it. I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time, but it served its purpose for me and serves as a good backup.
It made my life easier when it came to screen coating, and it was my best purchase to date.
It works well for coating screens, and I like how one side is rounded for a silky smooth appearance.
I haven't used it yet, so I can't give an accurate assessment because the material may rust. br>br>Pros: Straight edges, comes with rubber edge guards to keep them from being bent when not in use, and appears to be sturdy enough to last for years. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. As far as I can tell, there aren't any.
