Normally, this one is excellent, but not this time

At least a third of the sequins lack holes through which the nail can pass. And the background looks as if it was folded and ironed. br>These are something I usually enjoy. This one, however, is a dud.

There isn't a re-doer in the house

The little pins in the sequins were difficult to get in, but it was still a lot of fun. The frame is made of styrofoam, which gives it a tacky appearance. I'm not sure I'd take on another project like this.

Crossword puzzles for beginners stitching, but this time with a little more oomph

It's a fun art project, but you have to be careful about the order in which you insert the pins, or the sequins will overlap. My nine-year-old discovered this after finishing an entire flower and discovering that it didn't overlap like it did in the picture because she started pushing the pins from the inside out rather than from the outside petals into the center. It's gleaming, vibrant, and necessitates a similar level of skill. Set it up as a cross stitch project, with little white dots to count to make sure you're putting your color where it belongs.
