That's not the case, at least not for me. It would be best if you just added the length you require.
5/8 of an inch seam allowance is typical for most patterns.
The doll patterns available from Butterick, McCall's, and Simplicity are all the same. A search can be made using the height of the doll, the type of doll (Barbie, Cabbage Patch, American Girl, etc. ), and the type of clothing-Victorian, sportswear, etc. Some patterns include both doll and doll clothing patterns. Wishing you lots of sewing fun!

It was my first time using bias tape so I got single fold rather than double fold, guess I didn't get the pattern correct that day. So make sure you follow the instructions and don't make silly errors like I did! As you can see, I put a fabric bow on the center of the neckline as a cute personal touch when I just completed the first one.
For this reason, I built Pattern A into the pocket for Pattern B. The pattern was easy to follow and make adjustments to although I have not sewn for more than 25 years. I made it so that the yoke on the top could be separated and Velcro was used to close it since it would need to fit multiple people.
Making apron gifts is a great way to make homemade gifts for loved ones.
