During its pivoting motion, it pivots from a down position to an up position, without being flexible. The length of the tube is less than 1/2" Could it be as little as The opening of the bottle is reminiscent of the type Breck shampoo bottles used to have in the 1980's if you remember them.
This machine has been used on a Singer treadle machine dating from 1900 as well as a 1950 featherweight, and it is perfectly reliable
It does not have an expiration date on it. In my mom's case, she still uses an old bottle on her sewing machine 40 years later, and it keeps working fine. Any expiration date would not be an issue, in my view.
The oil used in my wife's machine may be light machine oil, like the Singer machine oil, but since I invested a couple hundred dollars in her machine, what's $6?

While I was able to oil one of my machines, I found that the nozzle that was provided was not long enough in relation to the length of the There is a locking mechanism on the nozzle to keep it from leaking. It is possible that I was not able to remove the top so that I could needlessly fill a shorter dropper with oil.
For my computers that had noisy fans, I purchased this product to oil them. It works wonderfully for what it was intended for. One or two drops is all that needs to be used. Oil is smeared all over the place when there are more. There are some fans where you can temporarily remove a sticker that covers the hole to put oil in, then replace it when you are done. You can watch several videos of it on YouTube. It is also compatible with a smaller network card fan on an Intel x540 network interface card. The fan has to be removed from the heatsink for that one.
Singer machine oil works great and is of the high quality you expect. It was only the spout that I didn't like. I find it a bit difficult to open for my wife. Using an old style meant you removed a simple tip and used it. The bottle has a flip-up spout that is easy to access, but the spout is hard to flip up.
It was a bottle of this oil that I had somewhere but couldn't find, so I bought it. My main use for iThan is on my archery equipment, such as the targeting sight with extremely fine threaded components, where a heavy metal like the old 3-inch bore is not needed This oil picks up dust and/or smells when it gets wet. I guess oil is a good example. There isn't much smell to this oil, which is very thin and very thin. Apart from the reason I bought it, it is an excellent general purpose oil to have around for lubricating fine machinery or sewing machines where dust is not desired. I assume it could also be used for other applications like guns and scissors. It is one of the best in its class, in my opinion. Furthermore, I like the bottle that contains the dispensing liquid. I keep mine in a toolbox on its side so I don't have to worry about it leaking all over.
Having used Singer Machine oil for decades, I can vouch for its quality. The company should be commended for staying with the original and not changing it over time to cut costs. Basically, it's the same stuff we've come to love and know. One of the things I use it for is to lubricate my Braun and Panasonic electric shavers, To keep the screen and blades from wearing out, I use a touch of it. In contrast to some lubricants, it won't gum up after a while. Washing machine parts, removing rust, and cleaning with WD-W will make your equipment look like new again. The quality of WD-40 cannot be beat, but I prefer Singer for lubricating A product like Singer can be used on fragile equipment like cameras with no harm done. You should use it very sparingly if you're using it to clean delicate parts of machines, like cameras! If you want to control exactly how much of the oil you use, use a pin or paperclip to control its application indirectly. The older I get, the more I find I am able to use it for my vintage cameras. Consider the time-tested Singer oil if you are looking for something for lubricating machine parts.
Very thin oil of excellent quality. As my go-to source of information, I use it Those used for skateboards, sewing machines, ball bearings, etc. , thin their oil as well. ). This is a model train on a scale. So far, the oil has not left any residue from drying etc.
In general, don't overdo it The stuff! It is usually sufficient to spray one or two drops of oil on moving parts. It is just a matter of gliding very thin films between moving parts - not really much more than that - Creating a droplet or coating that will also trap dust and dirt is not a good idea!.
The purpose of this item is to clean my sewing machine and This is a very useful tool It is finally possible to find an oil that will not go rancid, and that will keep moving parts running smoothly. I am pleased with how the product arrived a little later than Amazon mentioned, but it was.
