Questions & Answers
My Babylock Lyric is in perfect working order. I'm pretty sure all Babylock feet are the same size. The red lines on the foot, which help with accurate seam allowances and top stitching, are particularly appealing to me. That is not a feature of the walking foot that came with my machine.
It's compatible with my Singer 2277 low-shank machine.
That's what I think. It worked well for me when I used it to sew appliqué letters onto a quilt I had made.
My Sophia (Husqvarna Viking) did not fit, and I am not sure about the Emerald 116.

I had no trouble sewing face masks with multiple pleats with it, and I couldn't imagine completing the project without it. I also had no problems using it on multiple layers of fleece and thicker fabrics. I believe I am ready to tackle a quilting project at long last!.
It took me about 5 minutes to put it together. It successfully assisted me in making my first quilt, despite the fact that it was quite thick, and even assisted me in binding the quilt! It did make an occasional squeaky noise while quilting, but I didn't mind. It's probably not of the highest quality, but if you only need it for a few times and don't want to spend $60-$80 on a quilting machine or a brand-name walking foot, it'll suffice. This is a good deal at $100! I have a basic Brother sewing machine with a low shank.
My wife was able to quickly and easily install it on her brother's sewing machine, making it easier to see what she was doing. She's been sewing facemasks for friends and family, so she's been putting it to good use. It comes packaged in a nice little box and appears to be made of high-quality materials and solid craftsmanship. It was a huge success.
She's been sewing masks for the kids, grandkids, and as giveaways, and this thing has made the job a whole lot easier! The 'open toe' makes it much easier for her to align things, and because it's heavy duty, she can easily do the multiple pleats. Because of how well this foot works, she is very excited to work on a variety of other sewing projects. Because of how good this one is, I'm looking forward to buying more Madam Sew products.
This Foot is a fantastic addition to the other Madam Sew sewing accessories that my wife has received. The package arrived on time and was exactly as described. My wife was overjoyed to receive the Foot because it is well-made. She'd been wanting to add this to her sewing projects for a long time.
This was purchased to replace a Baby Lock Presto II. I was concerned that it would not fit or function on it, but it does. I only took it for a "trial run," so I may return to add another star once I've had time to sew a large curve-filled project. I didn't give it five stars because it doesn't allow me to put much material underneath it. It appeared that my fabric did not move (walk), which is a good thing. I only put it to the test by sewing a flannel and terry cloth layer together. The fabric appeared to be wrinkled in the corners, but the finished product was fine (unlike what I had before using the foot). ) I have to pull on the thread after using the automatic thread cutter, which I don't have to do with the regular foot, so I won't use it for everyday sewing. The finished product meets my expectations.
This is a great little addition to my sewing supplies! br>The only problem I've encountered is that when my Singer machine completes a stitch and lifts the needle- The walking foot'slips,' as I can't think of a better word for it, and I have to reposition the needle or I'll end up with two stitches that are almost 40o off the pattern. I have no idea what the problem is; I'll have to experiment with scrap fabric to figure it out.
