This foot allows you to use less thread and even tighten your stitches if you don't yet have a serging machine because it uses the zigzag feature of your sewing machine to do the same job as a serging machine.
I like that it feels thicker than the last pressure foot I used, and it is easy and convenient to use on my Brother sewing machine. There is an innovator in my family *s NX-18 It took me a year to heal my 450(Q) and G foot. There is no seam to be found on this replacement, I simply need to move my needle to the left. There is no indication that it will be changed in the near future. It is definitely worth the inconvenience to have the presser foot work. To top stitch the clothing I make from woven fabric, I use this.
This was exactly what I needed after my original one broke. This is a foot I can't seem to live without because it is so easy to use.
