Dear Friends, Please use the old presser foot's bar as a guide. Our foot bar for the presser is 6mm/ 0. 24inch.
Yes, without a doubt. 7mm is the maximum width that most machines can go.
They're designed to allow plastic to slide under the foot without becoming stuck. I'm confident it'll work with plastic to plastic or fabric to fabric.

You do get what you pay for, after all. This holds true in this case. Although the Teflon foot appears to be made of Teflon, it does not appear to glide very well. In fact, it hangs a little higher than my regular foot, which is understandable given the unevenness of the bottom toward the back. It appears that the material was improperly poured, as it has a slick texture where it should be. br>br>I had to file down the rough and even sharp edges in the plastic on both it and the rolling foot before using them. I'm not sure how they work on vinyl, but they haven't moved any of the other fabrics I've tried them on any faster than my regular, spring-weight fabric. Metal foot with a heavy load br>br>Both are so small that they barely fit on my Brother sewing machine, and the needle openings are so small that even the widest stitches catch on the plastic. There may be differences in size standards between countries when it comes to some things, but not when it comes to presser feet. br>br>Picture includes a video of me scratching the rough part of the Teflon with my soft little nails, as well as my usual foot for scale.
I wanted to make a wrist rest out of glove leather for my laptop. I haven't worked with it much, but it's recommended that you use a teflon or rolling foot for it. At a reasonable price, this set included both, and both fit my Brother's low-profile frame. Well, shank sewing machine. br>br>I tested both on a few pieces of soft glove leather and found that they both worked equally well. I ended up using the teflon foot and finished my project without breaking a needle. I can't comment on how they'd work on thicker leather (such as saddle leather) because I haven't tried it. br>br>Take a look at this image: It's the wrist rest I made out of purple leather. It's not perfect, but that's because of my lack of experience, not because of the shoes.
On leather, the teflon foot performs admirably. Although I tried it on knits and it didn't work out, I haven't used the roller foot yet. I bought this set because I needed a teflon foot and thought it was a good deal. I'm going to use the roller foot a lot more in the future. Even after all these years, I'm glad I bought this set.
My Bernina and Husqvarna machines were not compatible with this product. The Seller, on the other hand, contacted me to correct the situation. Excellent seller with excellent customer service!.
These fit perfectly; however, I purchased other machine feet that claimed to fit the Quantum but did not. Keep an eye on things. I ended up using a spare ankle from another machine, and those off-brand shoes fit perfectly.
They are extremely effective. I can now sew vinyl and thick layers of fabric without difficulty.
Ordered specifically for the Teflon foot, which is used to sew stretch vinyl. It's still sticking, and I'm having to feed the fabric with paper to get it to feed properly. I'd use the other foot if it didn't leave a mark on the stretch vinyl.
