A flexible 30cm led strip, neutral white 5000K, with a working voltage of DC 5V (can also be used with any device with a USB port).

With the touch dimming switch, it can be adjusted to the brightness you like. It's low cost and energy efficient.

If I had to return it, I would. This is the one I use and have had for well over a year now.

Do you know if it will work with a featherweight ?

I believe that the LED light strip would work with your Featherweight since it is flexible and comes with adhesive grips to attach it to the machine. The strip can also be cut to fit, so I think it would work with your machine. There are 160 Bernini Virtuoso machines to choose from. You really see your work better with these lights.

Do you know if this is UL Whenever I see an electrical item made in China, I am always suspicious. ?

It does not seem to be a problem for me. My surge protector is plugged into the computer.

Is it necessary to have a separate USB power source?

There is nothing you need to do. In order to connect a usb to a socket, you plug it into a plug.

This LED lightsyrip is a terrific purchase and gives you just the right amount of brightness Whenever I sew, I find it almost impossible to see because of the dim light on my daughter's sewing machine

I bought this for her because her only light was so dim and I couldn't see it. There are three dots of LED lights on the strip that are cuttable. There is a lot of brightness here, but it isn't blinding. Velcro squares and small hooks may be used if desired, but I chose to remove the paper backing and adhere the strip to the underside of her machine, without binding the light panel door so that it stays closed for security reasons. It is possible to turn the strip off using a touch button. The price is higher at another social media site, but I purchased another one for my sewing machine because I liked this so much.

After trying the clips for a while, the clips didn't seem to work It works great now that it is adhered directly to the machine.

I have enjoyed sewing so much more since I learned this. A similar DIY version of our LED strip lights that we had from another project is readily available, but I need a power supply and plug for it. About $12 would be charged for it. It doesn't work at all, but it works considerably less than before. To avoid contaminating my hands with oils that would make it difficult to stick, I cleaned the sewing machine with some rubbing alcohol before adhering it. The battery has been in place for over a month and is holding up just fine. The cord is a USB, which may be a troublesome connection, but the power strip under my desk, where I use my machine, has a USB port. So far, I haven't tried to put the cover on my machine since I installed it, so I'm hoping it will not interfere with either the cord or the holders.

Thank you for reaching out and accepting my offer! I was very happy with their response. As of now, I have installed my new light, and once again, I am It's great to have found one that will last! The February 2019 update is as follows Despite my aging lights, they continue to work well. On a number of large projects I've worked on, the original fasteners are still in use. They are great lights! I highly recommend them!.

The LED strip lights for a sewing machine are dimmable

I was surprised how bright the light produced by this strip of LED lights was, and how easy it was to install! In my photo, I have both the sewing machine's bulb and the strip lights on at the same time. I can't believe how bright the world seems now. Dimmer switches are excellent features, and I dim the lights a little according to my budget and individual tastes. In addition to the two sets I bought as gifts, I am keeping the extra set for myself.

Their brightness and ease of installation make them perfect for a variety of applications

Applications were easy to fill out. As I told my husband, I wanted them just where I wanted them, and we didn't have to cut any of them Quite a bit of light is coming from the source. It was so bright that it blinded me in one place I had put it. In order to fix the problem, he put a piece of blue painter's tape over that part of the lights, and the glare went away but the light was dim. So far, it seems to be going well. Despite the blue tape showing through the picture, the picture looks fine. Keep in mind that this is not part of your lights.

It is a fantastic light for use off-grid For grid purposes, but for light purposes An issue with the strip prevents it from attaching properly

It is not the lights themselves that are defective, but rather the adhesive patches that are supposed to attach them to the sewing machine. It ended up being a string that I tied around mine. My treadle sewing machine is in a cabin without electricity, so I'm using it on my treadle sewing machine. Among the things I like about these lights is that you can plug the USB plug into the charger that you use to recharge your Because they draw only a small amount of power, this did not affect my phone's ability to be recharged by the pack.

A bright and helpful individual

There is a lot of light coming from these lights. Having said that, they were not the easiest to assemble and I am not sure how long they will last. However, I am pleased with the amount of light they generate. Because I am still not sure where I want them to be, I did not use the adhesive and have attached them temporarily with painters tape. The next time I buy, I will.
