Despite its age, my trusty Elna, circa 1969, continues to work well. I decided to purchase the Razon Sewing Machine LED Light, however, because I needed more light for sewing due to aging eyes. My setup didn't allow for the length of the cord I purchased, so I included this USB cable with my order from Amazon In a nutshell,.
I have fallen in love with free motion quilting just recently. It is impossible for me to see where the fine stitches are or where my stitching is going with my home machine because the light casts shadows. On my teacher's machine there is a light, but it flops around and is not in the right place, even though it is My choice was the stickable LED lights, which I found on line. They work like a charm. Initially, I was a little worried because there were far too many lights on my machine and they hung wrong, were too long, etc. However, I emailed the manufacturer and got a response nearly immediately. The extra clip keeps the cord out of the way and the extra lights now work fine. I should have cut the excess lights, but I did, and they are now working fine. Besides turning the light on and off, the switch also dims the light! It's amazing how far technology has come.
This is one of two that I ordered, one for myself and one for my It worked on one light, but not on the other. The instructions were not read carefully, so I thought it was necessary to unplug the lights in order to turn them off. In this case, I returned them and wrote a negative review about them. A seller contacted me through Amazon to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the defective product and offer to send me two new free lights as a gesture of There was no need for free lights for me. Although I couldn't be certain whether or not the lights worked, I agreed to give them another go. It seems that on my sewing machine, the lights do not illuminate the work area around the needle, where I would most benefit from extra illumination, but they do light up the work area directly to the right of the needle area, where I do not need extra illumination. Because of that, I won't install one of these on my sewing machine. Nonetheless, I discovered that one of the lights works well when attached to the quilting frame because it illuminates my workspace on the longarm machine. Then that's what I intend to do with Based on the description of this product, I can't give it five stars since it did not fulfill my expectations. The light is good for another purpose, but I am happy to have it. As far as customer service goes, I would rate the seller 5 stars.
LED lights from Razon are a great source of illumination. My Razon LED sewing light comes in handy a lot. It is so much more pleasant when I can see where I am stitching without straining my eyes. In my opinion, it is a well-priced purchase that I would highly recommend. The shipping was free as well. Now that I've tested it and found it to be so easy to install, I intend to purchase another Razon LED for my other computer as well. Future packaging is expected to come with four clips instead of two. The cord can be kept up and out of the way this I love that the switch is a dimmer and an on/off switch. It is great that I purchased this brand. I was glad to find 6ft of electrical cord to be sufficient It's not that I have no access to a socket nearby. Unless you have an extension cord handy, you will need to bring one with you. I hope you all have a wonderful sewing experience.
In order to see if I can see a little better at night on my sewing machine, I purchased this lighting. To begin with, I thought I would give you some background on the reason I purchased A retina tear in my left eye a couple years ago left me at the age of 60. Although my vision is repaired, it is still distorted and wavy, as if a hot road is putting off heat. I love to sew and quilt, and I was horrified that I would not be able to continue with my favorite activity. The machine I am using is a Janome 6600, and a few feet help me easily guide my vision to the right place. Nevertheless, I needed a light that was above my deck on the machine since my Ottlite casts shadows when I work over something. These lights fill the void of light without doing this. There are two tabs that help keep the cord out of the way, and it dims when you touch the tab. Those with vision impairment or low vision, such as quilters, seamstresses, or crafters, would definitely benefit from this lighting. Razon, you're the man. Your products are great. Thanks so much.
