Questions & Answers
When using this foot, you can use any ruler. I prefer the thinner ones, however, the thicker ones (designed for long armers) can be used as well.
As far as the foot is concerned, I have had no problems. I sometimes break thread if I use cheap thread. What are you doing to ensure that the food is not squishing the fabric too badly?
The answer is yes! It basically has the same function as a free motion foot but it's a little taller so the rulers aren't caught in the toes.
As for the thread cutter on the ruler foot, it works fine.

Although it looks like it may hop (not supposed to), this one does not. The screw next to the spring allows for height/pressure adjustments Juki TL2010Q only. It is genuine Juki and works wonderfully with Juki.

It is true that Juki products are expensive, but the quality is excellent and if you plan on owning a machine for 20 years or longer, they are Ruler feet with this foot can be used with thick and skinny rulers. Worked fine with FMQ as well.
A thick seam will not make it "hop" so it does not Despite that, it works really well with rulers.
It's a good product, and it does what I had hoped it would.
