I really liked how this worked. I have found this kit to be simpler and require fewer steps than others In total, four shirts were produced and a lot of bottles were used up. A vibrant color scheme was used. I would suggest letting it sit for at least 12 hours before washing it.

With the help of my sister and my kids, we tied dyed 8 items using this kit. Tie dyers who are new to the hobby. I had a great time! We are also two women who cannot relax and tend to overthink everything so it was even funnier. Tie dyeing isn't something you should overthink. There is no way for me to even anticipate how it will come We ended up with some unnecessary stress and remarkably little mess, though all of our items did turn out great. I have so many good memories from that day. It's going to be the same, but I won't stress so much and enjoy the prices more this time. However, I do have a tip for you If you are going to tie dye your clothing, make sure to wash it first and to not use fabric softener. Please also consider You may need to use less dye than you initially thought you did. Fortunately, we were able to use it all. There were too many drops in each of the 15 bottles. Originally the kit would have dyed at least 19 items. However, we tended to use the dye so heavily that the results weren't very good.

As a result of watching a video on youtube, I purchased a set of these. Back in my youth, I used standard dye and a bucket to tie dye but mostly just one color of clothing. There is no need to worry about getting dirty with the Tulip dyes, and gloves and rubber bands are included in the kit. Activate the dye with water by shaking and spraying the squirt bottles.

I used the classic twist method for 3 shirts (grab in the middle and twist into a tight puck, then rubber band over the puck to secure it. You can call them sections. To dye the sections, it was very easy to direct the dye. As soon as the puck was complete, I turned it over and repeated the process on the back side. I then put them in plastic bags to proof for 24 hours. Following a quick rinse and wash, they were ready to use. After they were completed, they looked amazing due to how vibrant the colors were. In addition to washing the shirts, I have also taken them to the dry cleaners I have worn them 5 times and they have held up pretty well, fading I'd like to add more dye to this kit, so maybe some extra dye can be added. One bottle of color is really only enough to make one shirt (I used three colors on one shirt, using the entire bottle of each on each side). To be clear, if you are hoping to get good color and penetration, you can probably only use a certain color on one shirt. Kit is a lot of fun for the kids but be sure to protect surfaces since it can stain them.

It was so much fun to tie dye with this A great time was had by all! We were able to print 5 5T shirts and 6 adult sized shirts, which was just barely enough to meet our goal. I was very impressed by how pigmented the colors were and how easy it was In order to wash the shirts, we wrapped them in plastic bags over night and let them sit overnight. They were then washed in the bathtub until the water was mostly clear, and then thrown in the washing machine! I advise you to fill up each bottle with warm water first, and shake it up so the powder does not get stuck at the bottom as you fill it. Also, right before you run out of your favorite color, fill the bottle back up with water so you'll be able to use it again, though it will just be a little lighter this time. We were able to extend the life of each color by doing this!.

I also love that there are a number of colors that you can choose from. This brand will be my first choice if I ever do tie dye shirts again. Both my kids and spouse did shirts in the first picture, and I made another shirt for my children in the second All the tools you need are contained in the kit!.

We used this kit and another from Tulip for a tie dye party, and they both turned out great! It is easy to use, has clear instructions and everything you need (except for water and towelettes) Included is a shirt. They were used by one of the guests to dye yellow and mint green shirts They looked great with the colors! ) So white shirts aren't the only ones. It goes on smoothly and has a long lasting color if you follow the directions. It is always best to let them sit for at least 24 hours and I have shirts that are at least 3 years old and still look great.

I ordered this kit to "fix" them, as I wanted to give them a second chance. I love the color of the dye and how easy it is to apply. It was a breeze for my 3 year old to wash the shirts and they came out great. I found this to be much cheaper than buying several dyes from RIT, and it came with everything I needed For the toddler size, we used about half of the amount to make 3 shirts in 4 colors. The next time I order this, it will definitely be the same. As we still have TONS of dye left over, we are sure to have more tie dye parties in the future!.
