Questions & Answers

How does it work? Does anyone have any experience with ?

Dark gray fabric is being used in this case. It will be used for creating costumes with shading. Despite the fact that it does its job, you go through a can rather You should avoid using it inside because it emits strong fumes.

Do you know if this would work on an ?

If you want to use the "outdoor" version, you will find it has more benefits for your needs

Could you tell me how many cans I would need to cover ?

When I used one of the cans on a dining room chair, the original color was still visible. but had no can left for one chair seat, which I had to do in two steps. There is no going

It can be used for regular cotton fabrics?

It is possible for you to do that. For changing the color of a tulle fabric skirt, I used it to spray paint it.

Upholstery should not be treated with this product
3/5

This is a very rough translation. There should be no confusion here about the fact that this is clearly not intended On an old lazy boy chair that was faded and dirty, I bought four cans, which based on the stated coverage should have been plenty to do two coats. It didn't even come close, so I ended up buying 5 more cans, and the old color shows in some spots in the creases. However, the texture looks awful and it doesn't help that it's so small. Now the typical soft, slightly fuzzy feeling has been changed to a rough, starched denim or medium sandpaper feeling. Over twice what I had originally projected, and with disappointing results, I spent two times as much as I had anticipated. This might work fine for fine details on fabrics or for items that you don't intend to have in contact with your skin often, but don't waste your time and money thinking that this can update a sofa or chair.

I did not find the expense worth it, and neither did the results
3/5

My first step was to create a small, clean, light-coloured box In excellent condition, this was a Lazy Boy couch that was a beautiful color. In spite of the fact that it applied well, it is still tacky after more than 6 months of drying time. Its performance has been woefully lacking. When I contacted Tulip, they recommended I sprinkle talcum powder on the chair, brush it in, then vacuum thoroughly. Using this experiment on the back of the chair, I discovered that the powder stuck to the tacky paint, that it wasn't easy to brush into it and that it couldn't be vacuumed away because of its adhesion. I'm not sure why they spent money on it.

The product should not be used on This product seemed like a good option for reusing for me since I am a crafty person You can dye a chair inky blue by dying a tan one
3/5

Having watched the YouTube videos and read the directions, I was able to create my video. My smallish chair might need one bottle of ammonia, based on the size of the bottle The can holds two gallons. Four cans later, the color is still not very saturated, and the fabric no longer feels If I stencil T-shirts with this product, I expect it will work just fine It is good for shirts, but not for.

I like it a lot! For painting some drona storage boxes from IKEA, this stuff worked great
5/5

Our new bedroom decor was navy and gold, so we painted them that color. They turned out lovely! The gold waves were stenciled by hand using a Sharpie without any.

There is a brown color called beige
4/5

Despite the fact that the bottle works perfectly fine, the color is not near beige at all it is more brown. Now that I have to buy another one, I am really upset.

This is a great tool! There is no doubt that this stuff works
5/5

It did not dye what I needed! I bought Rit dye for synthetic fabrics, and it did not dye what I needed! Nevertheless, what do you think of this? Would recommend! Definitely a ten out of ten! The only problem I ran out before I completed my project and had to repurchase the product. According to the label, one of the 8 oz cans per yard of fabric is needed. In my case, it didn't cover the entire front back and sleeves of an adult men's jacket. You can always save it for another project if you're unsure, and if you do, you'll get an extra!.

There is no such thing as "charcoal" color! It says "Charcoal" (or "carbon" in Spanish), but the color coming out of the can is not at all what charcoal looks like
3/5

At best it is medium gray, sort of like what would be painted on a Navy ship. MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT SURPRISED! "Charcoal" seems to be the product you are purchasing. That is not what you are! The product is misbranded in that sense This is completely unjustified and cannot be tolerated. It is once again an illustration of the problem with online purchases. As soon as the product has been opened or used, you cannot return it. You cannot see the product before you buy it. We should all be ashamed of Amazon's decision to kill brick-and-mortar stores There is at least a consumer complaint process with traditional brick-and-mortar retailers.

Furniture for outdoors would be great with this material
3/5

This carpet is somewhat scratchy for indoors, and you need a lot of it to cover the whole room. Although I wanted to love the paint but I didn't, after purchasing a ton of it to trial (forgetting I couldn't return it), I still went ahead and purchased I had a problem with the paint being so stiff that it leaves my furniture scratchy (and sticky for days after applying). Is there a way to make the fabric softener trick work? It's hard to say. I'll buy a paint medium next time and add it to regular paint to see if it makes indoor furniture look better. An outdoor furniture would probably be a great place for this.
