Questions & Answers

Can you think of a way to make this Soft as velor, the fabric feels good in the hand. ?

The most likely explanation is that it is a synthetic. While this will work, I think the adhesive in Jacquard's neopaque white #589 will be better. These are better for synthetic fabrics like that rather than textiles, which seem to work better for

Are you able to use this product ?

A few years ago I used it on an old Oriental carpet that does not see a great deal of foot traffic, and it took to the fibers and holds up beautifully (in a room that gets a lot of light) and doesn't flake off or bleed. Then, put them on your socks, your feet, etc. It is stiffer, but it is heavier As the fabric is heavier or woven, it would work well if you test it first on a small area to be sure it doesn't stiffen the fabric unduly. If it is a heavier brocade or woven upholstery, for example, it should work. It would be better if it was silk or linen for example, as those materials would behave so differently from what I use it for now. However, I would be more careful if it was silk. We wish you the very best of

Do you use a brush or a roller to How should I apply it? With a brush or with ?

A modpodge brush is used to apply the glue. There seemed to be a lot of mucking up of my regular paint brushes and the sponge brushes were uneven and needed a lot of While the mod podge brushes are great for the Jacquard Textile color line, they also work well alongside the Modpodge brushes.

Are you able to use it need a new lining for a faded Carhartt jacket. ?

That is a question I can't answer. On upholstery fabric, I did use it. I was very happy with it. It is just better to dilute it with some water except that a Carhartt jacket may be worn in the Can't tell if this paint can withstand exposure to the elements.

I FOUND SOMETHING COOL! IBPS MCAS NCAS Finding this fabric paint was such a treat! The colors of the chair cushions in a camper I was remodeling needed to be brightened up
5/5

However, when it came to the back cushions we wanted to save money since stain-resistant fabric is very costly. I recovered the bottom cushions and had the back cushions recovered by the customer. When my husband suggested finding fabric paint, I checked Amazon right away to see if this paint was available in a larger size. I couldn't believe I had taken a chance on the tiny 2oz bottle by mistake. In the end, I ended up finding this 8oz size and ordering it after I had ordered the other size first. Although, if there had been an 8oz first, that would have been great. The quality of this paint was an issue that we were not certain would work at first but it did over the chairs I purchased it for. I wanted it sheer to get rid of the deep brown color from the cushions since we were planning to add I had poured the white paint in a jar and then covered the empty paint can with water before adding it to the jar this enabled me to reduce water consumption. Cover the jar with the lid. After that, you should shake it up really well and add it to the paint jar. As soon as I had stirred it all together well, I took a large paintbrush and painted the seat A rag can be used to remove excess paint or soften the edges every now and then. It was harder to clean up the paint with all the water added but I had a few cloths and paper towels at hand just in case. Because it was thinner, it was also easier to clean up. During the past week, I've been painting chairs and have attached a video of the process as well as a picture of the finished product.

My brown cushions were changed to a different color with this
4/5

In order to match the color of a new rug, I lightened the color of brown cushions by moving them to black. The cushion replacement cost is only 1/4 of what it would have been otherwise. It was a very good idea. A complete coat of paint was applied. Approximately four seat cushions could be covered by a jar. On the seat ties, the paint remained flexible and soft after drying.

A good paint for my textile
5/5

I woven a dog, with a heart-shaped spot on her side. I don't know why I only took a close-up photo of it. It was I who weaved (was it me? of white yarn and painted the black spots with it. There was only one problem I had with this paint I couldn't open it because the seal was stuck to it. There were one of those packages where the paper had come off but the plastic seal was still intact. My hands were covered in paint after I got them wet. Although it did wash off pretty well, there was some residue left behind. This is better than acrylic because it A foam applicator worked well for me. Be sure to use only grade A ingredients. We knew the paint would not run or get in any places it shouldn't have. While loading the brush, it applied smoothly with no excessive heaviness. I might use a pressing cloth to heat set this since I see that it is so important since it's on a wooden frame. With a few spots of white showing through, the effect lent itself well to the weaving yarn, and I was delighted with it.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
5/5

Holds up well to washing. Recently, I invested in a cutting machine and my son asked me to make him a shirt. I used freezer paper as a stencil to make this shirt, since he is a huge Bob Ross fan, and painted the Bob Ross design with black Jacquard textile paint. I found the paint to cover easily and to dry In addition, the design has been able to withstand washing. I took these pictures right after I painted the piece, then yesterday I saw my son wearing it.

In addition to being late, it was also broken
3/5

An earlier version of this article was published. It took five days longer than expected for this paint to be delivered. After going to Michaels and not finding anything similar, we decided to shop at the mall. There was no doubt that the paint had been opened before being shipped when it did finally arrive. An inner seal had not been applied to the container due to dried paint on the outside. We do not believe there was any paint leakage in the shipping container and the lid of the container was tightly screwed on which would strongly suggest that it had been shipped this We never actually used the paint, so my rating of this product is solely based on how we received it, not by how it worked.
It may have been a really good product, but the shipping was very bad. am able to further test this Textile color before it dries up (it was opened prior to this review) I will come back and give a review.

It's a pleasure to work with these colors! There is no end to the It's a pleasure to work with these colors! This is a really fun way for me to experiment with designing my own textiles without investing so much in printing first
5/5

I just wish I had a better way to protect the counter beneath. When I used this on my vintage table with exposed wood grain, it did wipe away even though it wipes away. Those things are able to absorb into it. It is really easy to clean up=- it is still a total 5*** I have a lot of fun with my tea towels! The WHITE in this pan is heavy pigment, so it will cover a dark color pretty well if I go back over it.

Working with this company was easy
5/5

It would make the perfect product to wear with Santa Claus' white chef's hat. The hat had become yellow and spotted over time. The product is thick enough to not drip, but thin enough to spread smoothly and to be applied to folds without causing them to bulge.

It is ideal for re-use Using color to bind the rug! A fading rug binding made from a wide black twill fabric was the perfect candidate for this "paint
5/5

" Plastic sheeting layered underneath my area rug and the binding was painted with this product. It looks like it's brand new now! So the paint soaked into the twill, there was not a plastic look, but very natural instead. In other words, the rug was not stained. As you can see, this is a rather thicker paint - not watery at all, and so it is perfect for the job.
