The set of fabric markers looks like it would be the best value as a starter set, after I researched the markers I need for my craft projects. In the end, I decided to go with this pattern because of its more varied colors, my view of it being brighter and layerable, and shades that resemble gold and silver. This set comes packaged with a free logo test banner and they blend well with gradient shading, so they're great If your goal is to change the look of a certain fabric, heat setting may not be necessary. As I was working on a fading gradient effect on a little doll dress, I allowed it to set for 3 hours before washing it and most of the color did not I did not see any pigment transfer after washing it despite excess dye washing away. It was easier to draw finer lines the second time after adding the ink. Focusing on smooth lines is very difficult with the bullet tip, so they're probably best used for coloring rather than drawing fine lines. However, while no markers can promise no bleed when a fabric is a naturally absorbent fiber like cotton or silk, these markers allowed the user to control the color easily. Only by pressing with care and as lightly as you can will your design come out. When the ink has dried, layer it again if you would like a darker or larger mark. Let the ink soak in, and if you want to make a bigger mark, you can do that too. I was a bit disappointed to find that the marker looks more of an olive shade than gold. This color blends beautifully with yellow or brown to turn it into a gold or bronze hue. My color choice is currently silver gray, and I think it will layer well with light blue tones for nickel & There's a lot more richness to the red colors in this set than I have in the previous set from a name brand. Overall, the colors are varied, bright, and pretty true to what the cap is supposed to look like. Amateur artists can experiment with color not included in colors and layer or blend up what is lacking in color. If Crafts ever sends me the 20 piece double point markers - If I am coloring a larger area, I use only one brand. They are small crafts that - I'm happy with all the markers so far, but I suspect a bigger project could make these smaller bullet tips less convenient. For my first experience with these, I'd buy them again for the quality and variety. We at least hope they have a pearl or metallic set in the works.

This is an amazing bargain. This is a great baby shower activity! This is what we bought to let our guests create some of our baby's oneies. It took these markers over 90 outfits in one evening to create a variety of new clothes. Even after washing the onesies, the colors stayed vibrant and there was only a very small amount of bleeding (1 of 90). As soon as our baby boy wears his customized clothes, we will be thrilled. The following are a couple of suggestions When you are using a light color fabric, you should put something (like a file folder) between the layers to ensure that there will be no leaks. Additionally, since these are fairly fine-tipped, thicker linework will take a lot of additional strokes to draw. The last tip we have is to keep the caps on when not in use. Today we had a very windy day and about 1/4 of the markers had completely dried out within 30 minutes. Overall, a wonderfully made product! Enjoyed by adults and children of all ages They offer exceptional customer service on the Internet at 92 and it's no wonder why. My next order will be for this product.

I was pleased with their performance! There are fine tips on their pen, and they would probably write much They are made of shirt material rather than towel material, but they do the job and the bibs look great. Although the colors were very vibrant, I am not sure how well they will hold up after washing.

In addition to the primary colors, there are also some wonderful natural and jewel tone colors to choose from. It's comparable to many other markets I've tried, so they aren't as opaque as some other markets I've tried. As an example, if you wear a yellow T-shirt, the bright color will appear deeper in color like a mustard, or orange, like cooked The color "bleeds" a little into the next one, but I have been using that for added interest, i. e. It is more dimensional than one solid color to have a tan butterfly body outlined with brown. It would be great to add a white marker to the color collection, if markers could be made to be more opaque.

Because I was going to do a project with my granddaughters for their new brother, I was really excited about these fabric markers. Then they colored cloth diapers for him while they worked hard on designing their designs. The colors have all pretty much run out after we wash them.
