A total of 18 bottles already have dye in them, and 18 packets of dye are included as well. In figuring the number of bottles needed to complete our kit, keep in mind that our bottles are larger than most other kits. Each kit comes with 20 shirts dyed in tie dye
you shouldn't save it further than a week, but I did, and they worked just fine. In a month or two I made about 10 adult shirts, 10 pairs of socks (ankle length), and a few kids' None of the refills were used.
My shirts were washed with a load of dark clothes after they were rinsed with water first. Be sure you let the water run clear before starting the washing cycle. There is some fade in the color when it's washed You can dye the shirts more easily if you wet them first.

The pros are There are a ton of colors in this tie dye kit, and there are also backup colors, so you can use it multiple Furthermore, I love the way the colors came out once they were printed There is plenty of rubber bands in the kit, as well as everything I need. The cons are Upon arrival of the kit, the plastic container was broken so it doesn't stay closed. I rubberbanded it though, so it's not a major issue. It seems that the fabric's colors faded quite a bit after washing, but perhaps the cotton is also to blame? Because water bottles are small, you won't need a lot of fabric if you're planning to fill them with water. Two colors of tie dye were running out after I tie dyed 12 pillowcases. I would probably buy again if I needed to. Overall, this kit is good.
It is easy to fill the bottles and it is easy for the kids to use them. While there is a large selection of colors, we used only a few to begin with and saved the rest for our next craft day. The fact that each color has a refill is a bonus. We had a lot of fun participating in this event.
