Basically, it is a manual emery board
If I have Prismacolor colored pencils, which sharpener works best for me the Prismacolor Premier pencil sharpener or the Prismacolor Oval (bullet shaped) pencil sharpener?
It is so great to have a Emptying the ink well is easy, and it produces very crisp points for layering analysis. One will go in the travel art bag and the second will be kept at home. The pencil sharpener is unable to sharpen a box of unseasoned pencils as quickly as a manual sharpener would. A sharpener with an electric motor would be the best tool to use for this task. The sharpener simply works well as a desk accessory to keep your pencils sharp.
Are the "Verithin" prismacolor pencils compatible with this?
The Prismacolor Pencil Sharpener is capable of sharpening the Verithin Colored Pencils as well as any other brand of colored pencils, whether they are graphite, charcoal, pastel, or any other model.

Sharpen your pencils with this nice and effective manual sharpener
In my opinion, this is a good pencil sharpener for its price, and it works really well with my Prismacolors. It is generally my preference to use a manual pencil sharpener that has a small compartment for holding My colored pencils came out with long and even shavings when I sharpened them. I could tell they were sharp by the long and even shavings that I got on the blade. The blades of this sharpener were just purchased, so I cannot comment on whether they will retain their sharpness over a long period of time. Since there is a small compartment to hold the pencil shavings, you likely won't be able to sharpen more than 6 or 7 pencils before it needs to be emptied. In addition, it is made of plastic, but so far there have been no issues with breakage. A couple of reviewers mention that the leads of their pencils are broken. In the event that lead breaks continue to occur in the pencil, it may simply be defective, but pencils are fragile. I sharpen my pencils by twisting the sharpener, and not the pencil itself. No, no one wanted my opinions, nor did they need my advice on color There is a break in the pencil lead In any case, I thought I would mention what I did just in case anyone.

I don't have to worry about it falling apart when I use it, it doesn't ruin all my pencils -- If you can ignore the whiners and cry-babies, then it's a good product They are so adorable
It almost did not make sense for me to purchase this sharpener after reading the reviews here. then went on to look at other sharpeners, but found more of the same in terms of I came back to this one yesterday and it arrived a few days ago. I like it a lot! Let's take a look at the reviews where 1 stars were given Regarding the quality of a building or construction You are a ham-handed consumer, and that's no fault of the manufacturer An idiot with a fisted fist. It's not good for me to have small and/or loose things in my hands because I'm big and I have large hands. A fragile object is one that is easily damaged. However, there is nothing to worry about here. The lid was easy to open and close, and stayed The container is easy to empty as well. Having sharpened over fifteen pencils today, I am very happy with it. I. & I. NEITHER CORES NOR BENDS ARE BROKEN! So, we've reached the point where the complainers say "it breaks the leads". In other words, you will probably end up with broken pigment bowls, torn wood, and cracked wood cores if you jam a pencil into the hole and start drilling. The oaf who stuck his fist in his mouth). If you are holding a pencil in your dominant hand, place it in your non-dominant hand Rotating the sharpener instead of twisting the pencil should be done while holding it steady. As you watch the wood curl in the chamber, you will see pretty long curls. It has now become even more pointy! Remove pencil from desk to discover it is even pointier The following sentences are in bold. I mean, eh, what a condescending jerk, I suppose? In my opinion, it's so much easier to point fingers and blame than to just have a little patience and to accept responsibility If you fail to accept your own responsibility, you will lose your position. Is this item something I would recommend? No doubt about it. You should also buy some better quality pencils (I also recommend you do this). Is it something I would buy There's no obvious reason why I would need to the only reason that I think tracking down replacement blades when these eventually get dull will probably be more of a hassle (and possibly prohibitively expensive) than buying a new sharpener. As such, I would be interested. Are you the only one with a I found the pencils were almost too sharp when I used them However, I am ultimately responsible for that. An error of 100% by the user.

Following the tips found elsewhere is the best way to use it
In my opinion, the only reason this product is not five stars is that I could not find the tips to use it The colored pencils come with tips to sharpen the pencils, so you will get perfect results every time. The pencils and leads will split and crack otherwise if you use this sharpener. In the Tips and Techniques section of the Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils there are the following tips The pencil should be held steadily in the left hand while the sharpener should be rotated clockwise around the pencil with the right hand. It will be easier to get a sharp, durable point if the torque is minimized. "I sharpened my pencil the "traditional" way by holding it in my right hand and turning it, but it did not work. With this sharpener, I do not recommend doing this. I wish the information above was on the packaging instead of the useless information. The tip above worked like a charm, and I wish it was there.

I would not recommend it
I have been coloring as a stress-relieving activity since long before adult coloring became a trend, so I've slowly added to my colored pencil collection over time. I just recently invested in Prismacolor Scholar colored pencils - I'm really looking forward to using them! It would not be the best or most expensive, but it was more than I had previously invested. Now I'm not sure if I did something incorrectly (I mean, how many techniques are there? I mean, are they all different? The lead would break every now and then and I would weep The internet makes me laugh. In the meantime, I found an electric sharpener (Etekcity Electric Pencil Sharpener, Automatic Feed and Dispense) on Amazon that all of my colored pencils have worked amazingly well with - but it's an older model. It is rare that I have a lead break and the sharpener produces perfectly sharp pencils in only a few There is no other product I will ever use!.

This sharpener is perfect for me
It is amazing how sharp it is. With it, my pencils become extremely sharp, so I can definitely get into small spaces. There are two types of tips that this sharpener can achieve, so I've attached three photos so you can see the difference between the green and gold tips. There have been no breakage issues for me.
