The only size 8 I bought was the small

A square of seven by six. It's not the first time, but I think I have found my favorite watercolor paper out of a wide variety. Once the paper was wet with water, then painted with watercolor markers, then wet again with water, it did not break down at all and hardly curled. At that point, it was just loose in the pad, such that it was not even taped down. Additionally, as this paper weighs 140 pounds, it won't bleed through. There's a lot to love about this stuff. The next time I buy this item, I will buy.

Paper that works great for watercolors! Because I'm new to arting, I did a lot of research

I didn't know what to look for in the way of supplies (shout out to all the artists that review products to the point of the fact that they are brutally honest! If you are looking to get started with watercolors or watercolor pencils, this paper is perfect for you. Arches was also on my radar, however I decided to give this a try first because it is a little more cost efficient way to get started.

I find this paper to be extremely absorbent and it does not warp at all for me. It is the best watercolor ever and I might never get anything else.
