Selected User Reviews For Canson Infinity Museum Pro Canvas, Matte, 24 Inch x 40 Foot Roll
This material is more fragile than a standard poly/cotton canvas, and so extra care has to be taken when handling it. Nevertheless, if you're looking for the closest thing to a semi-automatic weapon There is now a glossy paper print that does not require glass.
Canson media was my first experience. The canvas has been supplied in rolls for large format printers previously. It is made with inkjet matte canvases from Breathing Color, Epson, Canon and Lexjet. There was no damage to the carton when it arrived. I was surprised to discover that the canvas weave was extremely smooth compared to other canvas media I have used in the past. I had expected the canvas weave texture to be much less than other canvas media I have used in the past. Depending on how you expect it to be presented, this can either be good or bad. The weave of canvas adds an artistic touch to an image, which is why many people like photos that are printed on it. As I checked a test image, I found the overall presentation to be closer to that of looking at matte paper. It's a look that some enjoy, but I do not, and the fact that I cannot buy that item again will stop me from doing so. Despite its smoothness and lack of obvious weave, the canvas gives off a lot of detail, so if you're hunting for canvas with the highest resolution, this could well be the material for you. The feel of the material is another issue. There are no threads in the thin material it is instead cloth-like I feel this canvas media is more like the canvas media I've always used from other sellers rather than offering the robust feel of canvas. It was hard to load on my printer, a Canon iPF8400, because it was so supple. In spite of that, once the printing and coating is done, the thin and soft material makes the process of stretching it over a frame as a gallery wrap very manageable, provided you're careful not to accidentally crease or wrinkle the material during Using a generic Canon matte canvas profile set to automatic head height, I was able to use a generic profile using the generic Canon profile. I could not see any nicks or streaks on the edge and my calibrated monitor matched the color balance very closely when I used.
The print quality is excellent on high-quality paper Printers from Epson at the top end of the market. A bunch of prints sold. The surface is pretty smooth, so I can even stretch it onto stretcher bars to create canvas prints for my It is a good product. It is easy. This is a good buy. We are smiling.
