I won't be able to draw on the backs of the pages since I can see my drawings on the front, but the paper is fine for drawing on. I wouldn't call it poor quality paper for drawing on, but it's thin enough for seeing my drawings on the back. I haven't had any problems with stains caused by erased lines so far.
A few weeks ago, I lost my old sketchbook and needed a replacement. This sketchbook was one I'd gotten many times before. I recommend a pencil, charcoal, or pen because the paper is thick enough that excessive force/strokes will not cause it to tear. But the paper is not so thick that I would recommend anything other than It doesn't bleed all that well, but I've tried brush markers (like copics) on the paper before. The ink will still leak through if you put a tissue or napkin under the pages you are drawing on, so I wouldn't suggest it if you like to draw on Basically the front and back covers are just paper of the same thickness, while the front cover is a thick cardboard cover that gives you a level surface you can draw on and keeps your sketchbook from getting beaten up too much.
The problem is. A Strathmore sketchbook is one of my absolute favorites. They have produced an excellent piece of work. For all kinds of artists, they have all kinds of types. The paper was not what I expected from the 400 series. There was a recommendation that it was a 200 series which they rated as "good" and I liked only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the large spiral creates a problem for my pages to slide around when I move, and then the paper folds and creases my hard work (something that makes sense for I also have trouble with my gel pens and ballpoint pens leaving deep divets along with bleeding through. Due to the uneven use of the page, I rarely use the other side so I expect this sketchbook to have fewer pages than what I expected. There are a ton of pages in this book, so that's not a major deal, and it was pretty Rather than paying a lot for a lot of paper, I traded it in for a lot of decent drawing paper that is good for swatching and sketching, taking measurements and scrap Its spiral binding makes it slide around so much that it drives me crazy. I have crevasses where my pens have been leaking ink and Thus, I know that it is better to buy the better sketchbooks and not spend the money for a giant spiral book. Generally, this is a decent paper at an extremely affordable price, so buying it is worth it. No matter what you put it in, it cannot stand up to any kind The only thing on this paper is a drawing. Please let me know if this helps I wish you all the best with your art. Every time that pencil touches the paper, you get better!.
A set of colored pencils and so on were gifts I gave to my nephew this Christmas. He is very creative and enjoys sketches, drawings, and anything art related. The gift was a simple and thoughtful gesture that made him overwhelmed. After letting him spend a bit of time with it, I wrote a review I thought would be honest. I was surprised how thick the pages were (I was skeptical with the price) and how much there really is. It is still being sketched and designed by him There are still plenty of pages left in it. There is a lot of strength in this book, making it difficult to tear. Middle school students, high schoolers, and even adults will find this to be useful!.
The old Mead Academie Sketch Diary was getting to the point where I was about to run out of room, and if this was available, I would have bought When I felt the paper, I was disappointed because it seemed to have decent reviews. The paper is not as grippy as art paper, but is a little thicker than computer.
I am unable to use this book to frame any artwork since all of its pages have large holes in them. - starting with the cover and ending with the back page Each page shows signs of damage. The current situation does not make me happy.
I bought this for my son - he loves it The hotel did not complain. It is nice to have thick paper I think this sketchbook is great overall. A repeat purchase is a good idea.
