after doing some research on google to figure out what you're talking about. Yes, you can use it for that purpose because it is newsprint paper.
It's a newsprint, so the quality and weight are comparable to that of a newspaper. Not in terms of quality, but at least as thick as copy paper. I hope this has been of assistance.
I am unable to respond to that question because I have not attempted it. I've drawn paper pieced quilting blocks with it.

It's a fraction of the price of a pad of newsprint at an art supply store. I usually cut my paper to a similar size, so it's a win-win situation for me. (It also perfectly fits the base of my birdcage. ) We've won again.
The vendor's name was com. However, it was sent by "Educational Resources" in a non-electronic format. Box from Amazon. I ordered two packs, which arrived in a box with some discarded plastic packaging stuffed inside, some of which was usable and some of which was crumpled and stained. I won't be able to use it for my project, so I'll have to return it.
Unfortunately, I attempted to order this twice and both times the not-for-profit organization refused to accept my order. Because the white ream arrived, I now have two items to return, one of which will be returned to Kohls and the other of which will be sent to UPS! This is NOT the white newsprint that teachers like me use for art projects, easel painting, and other similar activities; rather, it is the light tan/grey colored newspaper paper. Seller: Please update your description OR let me know if you do indeed sell WHITE newsprint, and I will gladly place an order with you!.
My great-granddaughter was able to mass-produce her art creations at a very low cost, and the size was perfect for her.
Some sheets were damaged because the paper inside the package was not properly contained. The newsprint was thin, but it was too thin for my printer. It ripped it to shreds.
Originally, I was given the task of wrapping glasses and dishes in preparation for a move. It was also used to clean the windows. For small items, the size is fine.
You don't feel bad tossing away your mistakes because they are very affordable and of good quality. These are what I use to practice with and thumbnail my work. Because working larger makes you a more efficient artist, I prefer to work larger, and this paper is the perfect size for that.
I would recommend this product because I created pads in the hundreds while working in the printing industry for over 20 years.
