I'm not an artist, unless you consider stick figures to be art, but I can appreciate it. I bought this for a friend who was starting an art class and needed 18"x24" paper. It is good paper with no flaws, but as I previously stated, I am not an artist. However, in the last six months, I have not received a complaint and in fact, I received a couple of pastel drawings as a gift from the person, which look great all framed up on my wall. At the time, the paper appeared to be a good deal.
They are adamant about shipping this stack of flat paper, which is only wrapped in another piece of paper. Sure, it'll be shipped in a box, but it'll be a big one. As a result, the paper in the box moves around and crumples in on itself. The first order I received was wrinkled to the point of being unusable. all 100 sheets, from beginning to end I sent it back along with some constructive criticism and awaited my replacement. Unfortunately, the second stack arrived in exactly the same condition as the first, and - As you may have guessed, not flat. The paper is worn and frayed all around the edges this time- It was most likely disintegrated because of the disintegrated sheet of paper it was wrapped in. br>br>The paper itself is fine; it's not as white as it appears in the photos, but it's a slightly off-white color. The quality is poor, but it will suffice if you simply want a large pad of paper on your desk. That is, if you aren't bothered by wrinkles.
I can't find newsprint in my local stores, so I'm glad Amazon exists if something isn't available locally. br>Because I have Gouldians and don't want the ink from a regular newspaper lining their cage, I prefer to purchase this type of paper. We also use it to grab a couple of sheets for shipping small items. When I empty my cabinets of breakables to give to my children's homes, I grab a few sheets. We keep it on the table next to the birds, and it's simple to change the bird cage flooring twice a day. br>br>This has worked for me for the past six months, and I'm going to order another delivery today.
The only caveat is that the tone isn't as bright as it appears in the picture. br>br>This stuff is versatile, and it's a lot less expensive than drawing pads for the student who just wants to practice.
This isn't meant to be taken as sarcastic. The bottom of my kingsnake cage is made of newsprint. All you have to do is fold it to the appropriate size and replace the paper. Newsprint, in my opinion, is the best snake cage substrate, outperforming gravel, wood shavings, and other materials.
perfect.
The paper is standard newsprint at a reasonable cost.
For my rabbits' cage, I require plain white newsprint. It absorbs more moisture than smooth newsprint and can be cut to fit the cage without being cut.
