Mixed media books are amazing, I don't have any complaints about this book. There are so many mixed media notebooks out there, and this is definitely my favorite. Keep in mind that, when you use a lot of water or paint on the paper, the edges will curl (like the 2 pictures in the first photo). This is not a major issue and does not irritate me since I think it adds character to the piece. However, I understand why some people dislike it. Yet this notebook feels too thick to sketch on, does not smudge the lead, and erases well as it does not pull the paper or create marks on it.
During my first foray into the world of watercolors, my paint set included a cheap booklet. But I thought it ought to be nicer to have this as well. It looks beautiful, but the paper tends to force and curl a lot. My cheap paper is holding up a lot better than the paper that came free with my paint. I assume this is standard.
In some cases, this means a full-blown surgical procedure Sometimes there is a full drawing, and other times there is just an outline to be filled in In the future, I will not mind having to wait Simply by drawing, I can express myself.
Both acrylic paint and pencil have been used up to this point. I did not see any wrinkles in the paint (which I was afraid of)! I would say that they are roughly between canvas and ordinary paper in terms of thickness.
In order to understand how a project will turn out, I like to sketch it first. I love this book for that reason. I occasionally use colored pencils or pens, and with this book I may actually use watercolor or acrylic paint. The easiest way for me to keep track of all my plans is through one notebook. After that came two, three, and so forth.
My recent purchase of waterbrush pens has been helping me create beautiful artwork with this paper. If I use wet mediums, I prefer a little thicker paper, but it won't break down or pull apart with excess moisture. This is also a great tool for dry materials, I used pencils and charcoal around it and seems to work well. It does the job, I would probably buy it again due to.
Definitely a purchase I would make This is a really nice mixed media paper from a great brand. Watercolor paper curves after a lot of use, however, it is perfect for use with When it is dry, you can put as much weight as you want on it. Excellent product. I would buy it again.
