I bought this paper for a different brand of easel, so it was a little bigger than the easel surface and hung off the edges a little. This is not a problem; however, it is worth noting because it may irritate some people. I'm delighted to have such a large piece of paper on which my 3-year-old daughter can draw, color, and paint. I found exactly what I was looking for. br>br>The paper is medium in thickness. It's not too thin to be fragile, but it's also not thick enough to withstand long periods of painting. Again, this is merely for your information. br>br>Overall, my 3-year-old daughter and I are very pleased with the paper. Despite the fact that it's on a different company's easel, it's perfect for our needs.
I wanted to get a 2 year old girl something practical, educational, and durable. This drawing pad, as well as the M that goes with it, are both excellent. D Deluxe Standing Easel (were ideal as a present. It's strong, safe, and enjoyable. And it's not the kind of cheap plastic that my niece will outgrow in a few years. She'll be drawing and painting for years to come thanks to the adjustable portion of this. It appeals to her. br>br>* I had read that this product was Made in America, and that was one of the reasons I purchased it. However, another Google search indicates that it was manufactured in China. While I wouldn't discourage you from purchasing it because of this, it is disappointing (and I have reduced my rating to 4 stars from 5).
I didn't realize the easel I bought had spinning wheels, so buying the easel paper roll instead of this pad (which I didn't realize when I bought it) is MUCH easier. Plus, the shipping was extremely slow; I ordered it a few days after December 1st, and it didn't arrive until two days after Christmas. In retrospect, I wish I hadn't bought it for the easel, but it's fine because he uses it to color on the floor.
Doug Easel is a character in the film Doug Easel. It's educational because it's used for drawing and encourages the development of the imagination. It does not teach, but it is a tool for self-education. This will be beneficial if your child considers himself to be an artist. If not, scratch paper will suffice. Simply hold off on purchasing until it is reasonably priced.
I'm disappointed that I can't get the stains out now. It's ideal for painting and other artistic endeavors.
I have a plethora of lovely photos.
I was hoping it would be the same width as the Melissa and Doug Easel because when my kids paint on it, they frequently go beyond the paper's borders and onto the whiteboard, making cleanup difficult. The simple solution is to cover the entire whiteboard with two pages in the "background," so that kids can paint on this paper or the rolls of paper that came with the Easel, and the paint will not go on the whiteboard if they miss the edge.
This Easel Pad was purchased to accompany our two-year-old son's new Step 2 Easel. It matched the easel perfectly on both sides. The paper is exceptionally thick. My son can use any of his markers and they won't bleed through to the other sheets or the back of the paper because it's thick enough. They are, however, thin enough for him to easily flip to the next sheet. We'll probably go through these quickly, but I'll definitely order another Melissa and Doug pad!.
