My experience is that I have used it for both wet on dry and wet on wet watercolors, using markers and pan or tube paints with no problems. In addition, acrylic paints and acrylic washes (very thinned out acrylic paint) can also be used. There is a bit of bleeding with large tips as well. I did notice that with a small tip pen (005, 01, 02,03), you need a very light touch so you don't damage the tip. If used with graphite, pastels, colored pencils, wax and oils, it will erase easily, but charcoal and chalks can be difficult to erase. It is also difficult to control the flow of ink with a dip pen as it seems to want to squeeze the ink out rather than just let When using very light pressure and a slight twist, you'll get the best results.
It took me a bit to find out what bristol paper is, and I discovered it is more smooth, and could work better for air brush techniques. My granddaughter recommended that the sketchpad would work best for what I am trying to draw - this is my first time drawing. Projects that are easy to complete.
It was impossible to avoid bleeding through an alcohol based brush marker. Moreover, the blood bleeds to the edges enough to go through a black line. This paper is horrendous.
YES, but the paper itself will take a bite out of watercolors and the pencil will fall off of

It was a delightful surprise to discover the Bellofly 100 sheet pack. I thought it would be a good way to sketch out my ideas on an affordable basis. The first thing I did when it came was draw on it, and I noted how thick the paper is. Then I added the markers, and I got excellent color saturation and absorbtion. In addition, I found it very stable in terms of producing mixed media pieces. Even thin decorative papers can be glued on after they are cut with Elmers clear glue placed on just the backside, making it easy to add cut papers dry on dry. My recommendation for this product is HIGH.
It is a blank sheet of paper I bought for my daughter to begin to water color. While she is aware that it is not the best, she believes it will be helpful for beginners and as a general sketchbook. As far as I can tell, the paper will hold up to water color paint in its thick state. There will be an edit to the review if there are any serious issues.
For my 12 year old daughter who appreciates art, I purchased these papers because they are more durable than an ordinary art book. The sharpie that was used for the projects did not bleed through. The good news was that it did not bleed onto the next page, but it did bleed onto the copy When using sharpies, she keeps one page as a backup. She uses it for safety reasons. Just two weeks ago, she received her package and has already filled several pages with her beautiful creations. Simply because of this alone, the rating would be 5 stars.
Then I use acrylic paint to complete a second painting. I fill the page with markers, pastels, then I use acrylic for the second painting.
I like how sturdy the paper is. There's a lot of thickness, but it's not a thick as f*ck. I used it for drawing and sketching and it seemed worth the price I paid. I have used it to do regular drawings and sketching, so that was okay. This was the first time I used water colors on this paper and they came out fine, though it did have a lot of weird blooming effects as a result of my lack of skill with water colors. Although the paper had some bumps, it was still usable. It may have been just a matter of lack of skill and technique on my part. I can tell you for sure that water color markers do not work well with It is nearly impossible to have a solid stroke due to the rough texture. On this paper, they do not blend either. As a result, they just bleed and feather, leaving very harsh lines behind. As long as there is no movement, the color remains. If you want to do marker art or blend marker ink, this paper is not for you. The paper is also adversely affected by lots of rubbing, but I had that problem only when I was trying to blend out my water-based The paper is excellent - it's versatile and has many applications.
The description describes the texture as being smooth and thick. It has a very cool blueish tone and is not a pure white. It has a distinct texture. Having been a professional artist for over a decade, I wanted There is a mistake in the description. Children can play with it fine. This is a decent price for a In this case, the quality is not good.
I bought the sketch pad because I am new to watercolor and wanted to practice colors before I bought it. I needed something that wouldn't buckle, and this is perfect for what I wanted. It is a good starter option because it is inexpensive.
Paper that is perfect for an art teacher that is teaching a small group and using it for multiple mediums at once. Helps keep costs low. Young children can use this to paint with water, and it stands up to overzealous.
