With this Bristol paper, the finish is vellum. Although it is thick enough to use as tracing paper, it is not suitable for that purpose.
On both sides, there is the same texture.
If you plan to use Prismacolor Art markers on this paper, then it should work. It is important to keep colour saturation within reasonable limits, otherwise it can
It would certainly be worth it to me

Despite all the wrinkles, it is sturdy enough to be used from my bed (what I use while recovering from my health issues). This is my first time ordering, hopefully it is just a bad batch. I will try ordering it again later.
A perfect frame for a picture. It's a good paper for collages made with mixed media. Covering it will prevent it from being discovered. Paper craft decoupage and stenciled acrylic color over a papered background will be the style I use here, along with gold leaf and gold leaf. The next step might be to add some mark-up Not sure which brush pens I used, but they were Faber Castell brush pens and colored Microns. My focus will move from my 4x4 canvasses to larger canvasses like this when I am finished with my 4X4 paintings and eventually when I am good enough I will frame some of them. My acrylic paints were already in my collection years ago, so it is very inexpensive media, and I already had the media. The Bristol texture is nice. It's a pleasure.
It has a very smooth surface, which makes it a great medium for sketching and fine line After buying the product to use with colored pencils, I was a little disappointed after using it with wax-based products While blending, color pencils that are oil-based built up unevenly. While I had better luck with oil based colored pencils, I also ran into a similar issue when building layers, which is why I docked a Paper of this quality and worth using is hard to come by, so I will use this for graphite and pen and get paper with more tooth for colored pencils.
My goal as a professional graphite art educator is to provide only the best possible paper to my students and myself. To meet my demands for resilience, sustainability and durability, I prefer paper that can handle multiple erasing and continuous handling. In light of the fact that some works take as much as 60 hours to complete and students travel to class with their papers, Strathmore takes the handling This paper has been my standard for over a decade, and I have tested many brands and have no desire to switch.
This vellum paper met all the demands I placed on it while I was using colored pencils to create these new art pieces. As a graphite artist, I was very abusive of this paper. I love it. Additionally, I used an alcohol marker to go along with my colored pencil drawing, so it works well for mixed media as well.
The paper is always of high quality. For years, my husband used Strathmore for his drawings, and these days, both his college student daughter and his wife use it.
My favorite paper to use with colored pencils and graphite is this one. We will definitely buy it again as well as the Canson brand. There is a great price, and since we're Prime members, our order arrives relatively quickly! I'm so happy!.
On my Bristol Vellum pad, I have begun a graphite sketch. The paper has a nice strength to it. The first time I use it, I find that my pencils glide over the surface without any difficulty. I'm in love with The only pastels that I have used on it are charcoal and pencil.
