My favorite drawing paper is this one. I draw a lot with fine-point Micron pens, graphite, colored pencil and markers, and this is the only paper I have found that works with all. With the smooth surface, you can make perfectly smooth lines. And it helps blend graphite. (OK, I use a fair amount of That smooth is how it is). My favorite thing about it is that it works well with alcohol-based markers, and there is no bleed through. I'm not quite sure if the paper is true white or is cream colored, but it's difficult to tell without true white paper to be compared and the white highlights don't really show up very well, which is my only minor complaint with the paper. Other than that, I find this to be superb, especially considering its price!.
Although the paper is very thick, it works well for what I am doing (micron pens), but as soon as I opened it, all of the papers fell out of their binding. In a paper that cost this much and received such good reviews, I expected more. I am not sure why the quality of the binding and sturdiness of the book are so lacking, but it does the job I need it to do.
It is a wonderful piece of writing. Erasing colored pencils is easy with this pencil, it's smooth and it's ideal for erasing completely. In addition to being bound rather than spiral bound, the pages maintain their straightness and are not difficult to tear out. I now use this sketch book as my primary sketchbook.
I really like this, and it stands up well to everyone, from watercolours.
Papers like this are my favorite! Alcohol markers work extremely well on this surface, and you don't have any bleed-through! As well as being sturdy, it's stylish! This is definitely a product I will purchase.
I bought this specifically for use with Copic markers, and it works perfectly. This is the best price I could find as well. The gift I bought for myself, and the gift I gave to someone else, is a huge hit.
Ink drawings are what I am using them for. The hard surface is nice. We did not experience any Using a pencil allows you to erase efficiently.
