Oil paint brushes can be cleaned in this way. In terms of thinning, I use other, more oil-based techniques The turpinoid you mentioned is a solvent compatible with a turpinoid molecule.

Definitely one of my favorites! When I'm finished oil painting, I love using this product to clean up! If you're unfamiliar with these cleaning oils, I highly recommend them! I found it on here for a decent price since I couldn't find it locally

If you haven't tried them, I highly recommend them! This carpet cleaner has a great smell, and will not make your whole home smell for days afterward.

There is a wonderful aroma coming from it! As it has a nice orange scent, as long as you have been painting you do not need to shower off the petroleum smell before you.

This is the thinner I use the most as an oil painter because it has a stronger smell, is easier to clean, and is useful for jobs like removing mastic without damaging new hardwood floors
