Those that I ordered are clear, so I do them inside. Additionally, the length of the soffit covers is also an important consideration. However, I am able to do those.
You can also use a metal palette knife if you are on a budget.

I am so in love with You can use the point to color flowers and craft paper where you need to get into small spaces. There have been some reports of difficulties with them staying on, but I have not dealt with that personally. Also, they seem to be able to withstand washing quite well. Nevertheless, I like to keep one centered for each color family such as reds, purples, etc. Both sides of the page can be used. It only takes a couple seconds to flip it.
Used for art.
Despite the fact that I find putting them on tools difficult, I like pan pastels and these sponges work well. This item does not warrant any reduction in the seller's rating, so I am rating it It would be better if you did not challenge me if you disagree with my rating. Try them for yourself and then decide if they are right for you.
As a result of the pointed handle and foam covering, the pan pastel sticks can be worked much more precisely on the paper and paint can be shaped more precisely than with any other foam instruments in this.
A very uniform appearance.
They work out better for me without the knife since a substantial portion of the cover is left exposed when you use the knife. The cover begins to tear where there is no support. It is convenient to have ten covers since you can use one with each color or each group of colors (for example, warm tones).
The Pan Pastels go very well with these.
