Questions & Answers

Does this still work if it is ?

Until a temperature of about 1500° F, Strontium Aluminate and Europium (the dopant and binder of Strontium Aluminate) maintain most of their phosphorescent properties. If you don't work in a smelting plant and you don't plan on using it close to a smelting pot, I doubt you will have any trouble retaining its integrity under high temperatures. If you ask about it glowing, does that mean it is glowing due to That's why it won't be able to shine even near as bright as you need it to. Fluorescence is a phenomenon caused by light that is emitted Light-energized molecules absorb energy from waves of light, which excite electrons in that molecule, which then re-emit energy into the environment This energy is emitted in the form of photons in the visible light has a longer wavelength and a higher energy level than visible light, which is why UV works better. Infrared light is much lower in energy than either UV or visible light, which is why it doesn't work as well. Hence, since it is lower on the spectrum than UV or visible light, getting enough of it to excite or energize the molecules in our substance to cause the glowing is quite difficult. The fluorescence element starts to border on quantum mechanics when we say IR light or heat is causing it. The short answer is that it is possible that it could still glow with IR, or heat, but I wouldn't expect it to be very bright. If the powder itself is well-protected against the heat, the heat of any paint that you use should not affect it much, but you have to take into account what the thermal properties are of whatever paint base you are using.

Is it possible to mix it with pre-mix? Do you think you can use pigmented paints without losing their glow?

There are some pigments that are too light and some that are too dark. With the exception of red, i had very little success getting red to glow. Lighter pigments vs dark colors seem to work best. Having experimented with a wide variety of paints, inks, colors, and basically anything liquid, clear gorilla glue proved to be the best medium to use with lit. As a result, it can hold quite a bit of glow powder, and still retain much of its glowing ability, which makes it far more durable than

When I add the recommended mix to this jar, how much juice will it produce? Would you be able to paint multiple pictures with it?

You should be able to cover at least 150cm square if you make enough

This was a bright but brief period
4/5

This wasn't the first time I used glow powder pigments. Although I was promised the brightest glow pigment, I was disappointed with how quickly it faded. I've tried other green glow pigments in the past. A blue glow powder that I have lasts for 6 hours and is 80% as bright as the lit powder is typical of strontium based powders with atomic greens being the brightest and lasting the longest and red powders being the weakest. I have some atomic green that is actually luminous for at least 12 hours when charged by an intense ultraviolet light. When charged by a low intensity ultraviolet light, this powder only stays luminous for 10 minutes at best, and it drops to 0 by the end of an Although I may find it changes when I mix it with something, I do not know if applying uv flashlight to raw powder will yield the best results and give it the greatest chance for My experience has not yet been able to verify that heat causes a luminous response on its own perhaps I'll try some go light first.

Creates the illusion of a real Gundam Unicorn by making it glow as if it were real
5/5

In addition, To paint the inner frames of my Unicorn Gundam model, I made use of this product and it was superb! This had to be mixed with clearcoat before it could be painted on, so it was difficult Thank you, I am very.

As I understood
5/5

Out of all the brightest, this is the best. Recent auditions of glow paint for neck markings on basses led me to try out various products. Others, on the other hand, are decent and also marketed as Everything on this site is real. You should buy the acrylic base so you can mix your own and add as much powder as you wish. Balance ease of application with how intense your paint will be, how many coats, etc. This paint far out performed several other brands of glow paint both in glow and in charging. Please see the notes below Please note - When mixing powder, take care not to overmix. Whenever it gets on something, it sticks to it. You can use something under the container when you open it for the first time to scoot the overflow back into the container. Do not mix too much in one batch. Once the mix is made, it can't be held onto. It is important to use one piece of equipment at a time. If the flashlight isn't going to be used for decoration or if it is going to be in a place that doesn't get natural light for charging, you should get a decent UV flashlight for it. You can get a good 6-inch TV for a reasonable price The LED handheld is 10 watts. Please note - I used this for over 2 hours at complete darkness with very little light and excellent results. The initial glow is very bright, and the persistence lasts for hours. I tested it out with 5 minutes of charging and then used it in complete darkness for over 2 hours. According to this theory, it would last for 12+ hours, but it would be obvious that it will dim substantially during that time. This is
br>- In a nutshell A good base to start with is what they suggest. Over the past month or more, it has stood up to wear and tear as well as regular handling without chipping, peeling, During a test, I scraped off a small piece to see if it would cause any damage, and it came off with some effort and left no marks. I like how well it adheres and how well it stays on. Attached is a picture taken in a well-lit room as well as a picture taken after first charging it for about 30 seconds and then after it has recharged for about 1 minute. Hence, it is bright enough to be seen in the.

The glow is bright and lasts a long time
5/5

I was a little hesitant after reading the review that said it only glows for ten The experience I had was not like that. As a result of charging it with a light, it was so bright that it could be seen across the room even with the lights I notice the super bright glow wanes after a few hours, but the product continues to have a nice glow for at least 8 hours. I tested this at night and fell asleep before I had a full range of glow time. Be aware that this dust is extremly fine and tends to spread as soon as it is handled. Do not use this anywhere you are not prepared to fix the afterglow.

In my extensive experimentation with this, what I found was that all glowy all the time
5/5

There's a glowy appearance to it. I just thought it was a good, nice glowy feeling. When I compared Lit with Gluminous, the difference was insignificant It is commendable to see both Any ordinary charge will suffice to keep them glowing all night long. This paint helped me to find my slippers and my phone as the sun rose. Getting the best results with Stuart Semple Superbase and Gluminous or Lit has proved to be the most effective. There is something wrong with other bases that makes them fail to work as well. As a result of the high density of the product, a little obviously In addition, the other guy's call to be careful opening the jar reminded me to be cautious. This is not a joke at all.

For those who utilize loose pigments, this is a great product
5/5

A loose pigment, as it is described, is what we are dealing with here. A person has to have some experience mixing paint before they can do this. To get three coats, I mixed the dye with the polyurethane at the ration suggested. I found it very helpful and it worked well. The key is to make sure you mix it constantly so that it does not settle. This isn't a problem, it's just a part of life. The mixture is also rough when it is dry. In order to achieve a glossy finish, I lightly sanded it and applied two coats of clear, straight out of the can polyurethane. I have to tell you that some of this stuff is really, really Some of the mixture went under my nails, leaving me with a glow in the dark French manicure for days at a time. Every time I walked into a dark room, I was startled. When applied to fabric using a dry brush technique, this mixture works well. At 6 months, it continues to grow. I am not sure how much longer it will last. The heart was an impulse, so I spilled some new paint on my tee and turned it into a heart It was an accident that led to the shirt.

In line with As a ham radio operator, I regularly use outdoor equipment (telescope, ham radio gear), so I was looking for a way to make it My friend bought me a bottle of glow-in-the-dark liquid Here's the - A dark color In the past, I've bought paint at a craft store to try, but the results were so disappointing that I shelved the project
5/5

When I came across LIT Powder, I decided to try it The original and another test object were illuminated with a UV flashlight after being painted with the same type of acrylic paint. It didn't take long for the glow from the original to rapidly fade away. It is true that Over 4 hours it was still easy to see some of the painted object. I will still try other experiments, but I am satisfied enough to order.

How are you? In short, yes
3/5

Do you think it will last 12 hours? This is not the case. The glow from it is definitely brighter than other GITD powders, but it doesn't last as long as they claim. When you heat this powder, it actually glows. It is the only powder I know of that actually glows when heated. My jaw dropped when I heard that. As such I continue to look for a glow powder that has better lasting.
