Questions & Answers
This is definitely not an airtight seal. There is no gasket around the lid or base of the unit (as shown in some of the review photos). Wrapping the paint cups and the bottom of the case with sticky plastic wrap and then screwing on the lid has become my routine. Solution found, but the paint should be sold in an airtight container to prevent moisture from entering.
If you use this, then you could paint your wall with it and seal it afterwards.
This is excellent.
Brushes are not included in the package. You should be able to use an acrylic brush set

Although I saw other images of these paints which had the color yellow, which I really wanted to have since it is One more time I checked Amazon and saw the yellow box had these paints! The package arrived and I received it and I have to say My initial impression was that it would be a lot bigger than expected. i was surprised to find out how large it actually was once it was taken out of its In my mind's eye, opening the little jelly bean was as foolish as possible This cup contains My experience with containers might have been a mess, but it turned out to be much less so than I expected. After painting the swatches and labeling them (i misspelled the 'burnt' in burnt umber but shhhh), i wanted to take these paints outside, however they are rather heavy. I didn't seem to mind the weight too much, however. Perhaps letting the paints dry a bit might help prevent the paint from slipping around in the containers and getting onto the lids, so I actually let them dry for two days and the result?" it cracked a bit on the surface, but were Fortunately, I had changed my mind about having the paints dried later, because it really didn't matter to me for the time being- Well, if you guys are worried about the paints drying out, unless you leave it open with the lid lightly placed upon the box for like 3+ days, I don't think it would really be a big deal if the paints dried There seems to be a problem with the paints drying You might notice that the surface gets a little dry and cracked, but that's
I also added a picture of the palette after use because I noticed that it stained a bit after using it a few times - Thanks for reading and I'll be back soon! I don't really care about that, but knowing the palette will get stained might help folks choose this as a paint set for fun C I loved using these paints as a beginner who hadn't used gouache before C.
The pros are There is a lot of paint for not much money (1oz is a whole lot, most gouache tubes are only 1/2 oz)
+The case is really cute, and the molded palette is an excellent There is a possibility that I will return I do not have to use it once the gouache runs out*. +The case closes tightly enough that the gouache is still juicy after I use it once. It has been sitting around for 5 months*+It is not too large, so theoretically you could carry it on your travels* *Cons Please continue reading. . . If left on its side, it will leak, as it is not completely watertight. I would not recommend storing it on its side. There is minimal paint on the wall The image is of good quality but quite low in Although I struggled with this a little, I managed it - After you open up the two types of white, it's hard to tell them apart, but they both behave differently. In overall, it's pretty good value for the money you spend.
I sometimes find myself intimidated by all the work involved in setting up my workspace and getting everything out to paint. If you share the same issue, this set will be helpful to you! You are now ready to go! Remove the seals and rearrange the colors into the order you like, then the initial set-up is complete! The colors are bright and dry with a chalky finish, such as other gouaches, although some of the colors are more opaque than others (see the picture for swatches on white and black paper). Even the colors that aren't as opaque once dried will become opaque with repeated coatings. Their texture is smooth and creamy, and their pigmentation is very intense. I could see the only drawback of this set being a travel set as it is quite heavy due to the amount of paint. So, it probably isn't something you'll want to take with you on the go. In my opinion, it is a very good set for the price, and I would highly recommend it for new gouache artists just getting started. I am unsure of how quickly the opened paints might dry out or what will happen after they do, but for now, they seem to be working fine.
It also has a great coverage and can be rewetted easily. With so much paint for the price, this set will last a long time. The paints are more gel-like then liquid, and are easy to apply. In a week, some of the cups have become stiff. However, they are able to rewet without much trouble. Once everything is completely dry, all you have to do is add more Despite their differences, the colors work well together. These are opaque, thick, and do a great job of covering. - There are 2 cups of white- The amount of white gouache you need for mixing and highlighting can never be too much. As the set is very heavily painted, it can be a bit heavy to travel with. It's a nice heavy box, with a lid that fits snug, keeping the paints moist. The locking flap around the hinge seem like they will crack with use, but the seal around the lid will remain intact. I enjoy using this app because it has a good value. My intention is to buy more paint when I use up all or most of the current paint.
