They have a favorite brush that they go back to time and time again. It's a number 8 round brush for me. This is the ideal round for a number eight. It's comfortable to hold, has a sharp point, and can hold a lot of paint. I own a Kolinsky sable brush that I purchased before learning how real sable brushes are made- This Princeton synthetic brush compares favorably to that sable brush in terms of quality, and there are no concerns about animals being harmed. I always purchase Princeton brushes whenever I need a new paintbrush. Never in my life have I been let down.

I was overjoyed to discover these, as they've quickly become my favorite watercolor brushes. They're also great for gouache, but I have a separate set for that because the opaque paint is a little rougher on the bristles. br>br>These have a lot of spring and snap, and after a stroke, they return to their original shape. They don't hold as much water as some of their other lines, but that's ideal for my painting style and not a complaint. I use these for finer details and washes, and pair them with Princeton Aqua Elite round brushes and size 6 quill. br>br>I would also recommend these to beginners, but keep in mind that they are a firmer brush. I'd suggest the Princeton Aqua Elite or Princeton Neptune lines if you're looking for something a little softer.

They promptly refunded the price of the brush as well as the shipping charges. I worked on the brysh, and it's now ready to use. When I asked them to reclaim their refund, they told me to keep the brush and not to worry about the money. There was nothing more you could ask for. Highly recommended, and I will be purchasing from them again.

This brush accomplishes this, and I would recommend ordering it online.

I used this brush to make a few quick strokes. I really like how it feels and how it looks. The brush has a lot of snap (which I like), holds its point well, and is extremely versatile.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my admiration for this brush. br>I've purchased THOUSANDS of brushes that claimed to be excellent but were not. br>Spend the extra money on a brush that you'll enjoy using.

I went out and purchased a few more sizes right away. Holds a lot of water and is easy to keep sharp. It has a good snap to it without being stiff. Water and light glazes are very easy to control!.

The brush responds well to the pigment, the water, and the paper, which seems to make a big difference, especially when you're a beginner watercolorist.
