The reason I use these brushes daily is that I love how they are very firm, are highly predictable, and hold paint well. I have so many brushes and most of them are very expensive, but these are my favorites because of their snap. I would highly recommend it.

These are excellent watercolor brushes for someone like me who is just starting out. As far as I'm concerned, the price is reasonable and the quality is extraordinary. I found these brushes to be much better at holding water and color than others I have Due to the fact that I'm not a professional painter, I cannot see spending a lot of money on brushes. For this reason, these are perfect.

The items I bought were recommended on several websites. I am excited to try them out, but not sure about the quality of the brushes or how long they will last. I haven't picked up a brush for watercolors in almost twenty Having the common sizes needed is something I appreciate about the set. I wanted the Round 6 and 2 but both of these are frayed or have a very thin layer of paper coming off. Hopefully they are all gone now after I gently wiped them down with a piece of paper, but only time will tell how the results look on paper. Let's hope they aren't left behind. Taking a picture would have been a wise move, but I wasn't even thinking about it. Due to the price, I was hesitant to initiate a return until I had tried the items.

My first watercolor painting experience has been quite a learning curve. This is my favorite Princeton watercolor brush out of many that I have tried (Neptune series, Aqua Elite). The snaps in them are true to their name they don't come loose, like most other styles do. Their sharp tip also makes them great for cutting. It has only been a few weeks since I bought them, but they seem to wash very well and last quite a long time. From now on, I will buy only these brushes when I am painting with watercolor.
