I wouldn't use this brush to paint a house. The bristles are far too fine and soft. Paints with a lower viscosity are better suited. Brushes designated as "silver" are intended for use by artists. Look for a brush with thicker bristles that is designed for house painting. If you're working with oil-based paint, use natural bristles; if you're working with acrylic paint, use only synthetic (nylon) bristles.
For that purpose, this brush is probably a little too stiff. The glaze will almost certainly have streaks.

Wasn't this supposed to be a reputable company? I needed a soft synthetic brush to varnish acrylic paintings and possibly blend backgrounds. You wouldn't believe how difficult it has been to locate them recently on the internet. I'm not sure if it's a supply issue caused by Covid or something else, but Yeah. There were few options available to me. br>br>I'm dissatisfied with the brush's quality. While it is extremely soft, it is poorly constructed and appears to only last a few uses before needing to be cleaned. The ferrule is loose and constantly sheds bristles. Multiple bristles protruded at odd angles and in longer lengths right out of the package. I suppose what you pay for is what you get. If you can, try a different brush. br>br>My recommendation is to try a different brush. Save your money until you can afford a better brush if you need it for professional artwork. The good ones are pricey, but they are likely to be worthwhile.
For my students who work with inks and watercolors, I needed a synthetic wash brush. I didn't want to spend $50, so this was the perfect price; it's soft but springy, with a consistent flow. This purchase has exceeded my expectations.
As an oil painter, this brush may appear to be an odd choice. It, on the other hand, is ideal for assisting me in creating perfectly smooth, even background surfaces and washes. The brush is very soft, and it's not designed to apply a lot of paint. For delicate work, this is ideal.
How difficult is it to cut the bristles in a straight line at the end? I can't wait to give this Christmas gift because it's only $20 for a brush that looks like it came from a dollar store. SMH.
This brush is ideal for painting with watercolors. The texture is nice and soft. The only flaw I can think of is that the brush could have been a little fuller. Overall, you will not be disappointed for the money spent.
ideal for art projects.
The brush is really nice. It's taking the place of another that I apparently forgot to clean after a long-ago painting session.
