The bristles were covered in paint when I received it - It's obvious that this is a resold item. When I buy something brand new, I expect it to be in brand new condition. This is the only problem I have. I chose to keep it rather than return it, but I am dissatisfied with my decision. I'm confident that the brush will be effective. I have a similar one that I frequently use for large washes, but I discovered that I needed two to wash two different colors at once.
I bought several of these Goldenedge brushes, so I'll write a single review for them all. They are fantastic. They came highly recommended by an instructor, and I gave them a try. There will be no shedding. Materials are of good quality. It has a lot of water in it, which is great for watercolors. Also, since I've started using these, I believe my feet smell better:.
It's soft (but not floppy like squirrel hair) and absorbs a lot of water, allowing paint to glide on smoothly. My go- to use the flat brush.
These brushes, which I've been using for acrylics and watercolor for the past few months, make a nice tight line and are fantastic. The brush has a nice tight line (I have rounds, flats, and filberts in my collection) and holds a good amount of paint. They've held up well as well, but I'm taking extra precautions with them.
It aids in the smooth application of any type of paint. I've used it to apply acrylic and latex to wood. It's also easy to clean.
Brushwork is excellent.
He didn't have any complaints, so I assume the product was satisfactory.
