But not the taklon, but the Connoisseur Pure Synthetic (an oxymoron). I've spent a lot of money on other brushes only to have them splay and break. I wish I had known about pure synthetic brushes before purchasing a slew of other brushes that have since proven to be useless. The Connoisseur Pure Synthetic brushes are, in my opinion, the best brushes for oil painters. After squandering money on others for ten years, this is the outcome.
They move paint evenly and firmly, as opposed to bristle brushes. They also retain their shape, unlike other brushes, particularly sable. During shipping, one of the brushes in the order was slightly damaged. The bristles of the brush, however, snapped back into shape when I submerged it in water. br>br>Even pure synthetics can be handled roughly without causing harm. Scrumbling has no effect on the brush's shape; it simply maintains it.
They are extremely durable, retaining their shape and snap even after extensive use. They come highly recommended from me. However, make sure you get Pure Synthetic rather than Taklon. Time is a game that the Taklons play with.
Brushes made by Connoisseur Pure Synthetic (sounds like an oxymoron) have held up better to oil painting than any other brush I've ever used. They maintain their shape, unlike Bristle. They also do a good job of transferring paint. Make certain you order pure synthetic rather than tacklon.
The brushes from Connoisseur Pure Synthetic (oxymoron) outlast all others. I've got over 20 of them now, and they've all kept their shape. They also don't lose bristles and are good at moving oil paint. They come highly recommended from me.
It's a fantastic brush, and I'm sure it'll add some zing to my paintings! I work on larger canvases, and this brush allows me to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time.
