It is possible that you will receive a brush without a protective tube if you order from Buck Dynasty. doesn't have the protective tube, and it seems to have a bit of damage to the tip. While it's lucky that the entire brush was not bent, I'm not yet certain how fine details will be achieved with it. While I don't want to knock the quality of the brush, especially since it's not straight from Da Vinci, I also don't want to dismiss the quality of the brush. My favorite Da Vinci Nova brush is another iteration. I can tell the difference between a Da Vinci and a cheap brush after just one use. I can actually direct the paint where I want it to go when I use Due to a lack of time, I haven't had the opportunity to test out all the brushes, but I will be back to update this review asap. In order to warn others, I wanted to let them know that unprotected brushes might be present.
The lettering brush I bought was completely different from the one I received. If you want this brush, you must order it and receive it. For lettering in large sizes, its wide, long bristles are perfect. In the end, I received a thin long bristle brush that I could use only for signing Due to the fact that my wife loved it, I did not extra careful when ordering from this website and make sure what you ordered arrives.
The job was done to my satisfaction. Besides being smooth and holding paint, it is also durable.
Sometimes, I use rigger brushes to paint as a form of fun inspired by Herman Pekel. There is good quality in these 1175 riggers and they are sometimes enjoyable.
