As far as I know, the brush does not shed bristles. I wouldn't normally expect to exercise it in a way that would likely loosen the bristles and cause them to fall out, as it has a limited and specific function. In the way I use it, the needle never touches the glue it only touches

With a simple cardboard handle, the brush may be OK, but durability is out of the question, and it is way overpriced. While it looks good in the picture, the story is much more complex.
If the handle were more substantial, I would have preferred it. There's too much flimsiness to it. It gets the job done, though!.

It would be unfair to say this tip is better or equal to others because I lack experience. I can however say the following For me, it's a very good solution. There was a simple reusable sleeve to protect it between uses. It came packaged very neatly. My experience only allows me to say the quality is excellent! The price is economical and the price is economical.
